Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />Commissioner Blank inquired when appeal period would expire for the PDR-486 <br />application for design review to allow an existing redesigned wireless communications <br />facility to remain at 450 Main Street. <br />Ms. Decker replied that the appeal had been withdrawn and that staff had worked <br />~ extensively with the applicant to replace the flagpole and give it a tapered appeazance; a <br />matching flag would be added. <br />Commissioner Blank noted that he planned to appeal this item because previous <br />applications had required language for RF interference complaints; he hoped that <br />applicant would be able to insert it without having to appeaz before the Commission. <br />Ms. Decker noted that those conditions had been discussed as standard conditions and <br />that they were not included due to a staff oversight. She noted that they had discussed <br />those conditions with the applicant and that there was no need to appeal. Commissioner <br />Blank requested a copy of those conditions. <br />Chinese Learnin Cg enter <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that the Chinese Learning Center on Santa Rita Road had a <br />lot of writing on the windows, and she did not believe it complied with the signage <br />requirements. <br />Ms. Decker noted that the Code Enforcement Officer had discussed this issue with the <br />applicant and that the signage was approved to mirror the chiropractic office next door. <br />She confirmed that the lettering on the windows will go away. <br />Commissioner Maas believed that uses with signage in anon-English language should be <br />~.-, confirmed to ensure its meaning. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES February 22, 2006 Page 20 of 21 <br />
