Commissioner Roberts noted that wireless access should be added in the first paragraph, <br />where telephone and cable television were crossed out. <br />Paee VI-2 <br />Commissioner Fox suggested different wording in the reference to "treating Ruby Hill <br />flows" with respect to sewage. <br />Page VI-3 <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Arkin regazding the length of the Dublin San <br />Ramon Services District (DSRSD) contract and whether the City could obtain voting <br />rights on the Board, Mr. Steve Cusenza, Manager of Utilities, replied that he did not <br />know exactly when it ended and added that the City Council had discussed that subject. <br />There was a working arrangement where two elected officials from the City Council met <br />at least yearly with two elected officials from the DSRSD Board to discuss issues with <br />the contract and wastewater treatment. Staff had noted difficulty with that arrangement, <br />and Mr. Cusenza noted that could be brought up again at their next meeting. The 2013 date was derived from a process <br />performed in 1999 by Zone 7. At that time, 2013 was identified, and since then more <br />supplies have been acquired; he believed that date should be updated. <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Arkin regarding water quality and taste, <br />Ms. Stern replied that a pazagraph about water quality could be added. <br />Mr. Cusenza noted that the City had been fairly active with Zone 7 and the other water <br />retailers to bring the issue of water taste to the forefront.
