7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commercial Center Liehtine on Isabel and Vineyazd Avenues <br />Commissioner Roberts requested that staff suggest to Livermore to look into the lighting <br />on the commercial center on Isabel and Vineyazd Avenues, which she can see very <br />cleazly from her home. They are not hooded, and she believed they were poorly planned. <br />United Crrowth Buildines <br />In response to Chairperson Arkin's questions, Ms. Decker noted that there was some <br />language that was misleading; a temporary certificate of occupancy is not issued by the <br />City of Pleasanton. She noted that a vaziety of items needed to be accomplished to get <br />the Certificate of Occupancy for the shell; a second certificate would be issued as each <br />tenant completed its improvements within the shell. No business may open without the <br />final Certificate of Occupancy. The shell itself is still incomplete. She noted that staff <br />has been tracking this project closely. <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Maas regazding removing the wall due to the <br />diners' preferences, Ms. Decker replied that would not happen without stopping the <br />Certificate of Occupancy process; any change to the approved plan would return the <br />project to the Planning Commission. <br />Temple Beth Emek -Traffic on Stanlev Boulevard and Vallev Avenue <br />Commissioner Fox noted that the Beth Emek synagogue had conditions of approval to <br />~ limit afternoon services because of the Level of Service on the road. She would like to <br />retroactively revoke such constraints if the Home Depot application was approved. <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br />Ms. Decker noted that the Public Facilities Element of the General Plan would not be on <br />the agenda for Januazy 25, 2006. <br />b.
