I know you've been in
contact.
I'm planning to submit my development application to the City by the end of the week and
would like to include an informal "OK" email from you regarding the site and drainage plan
if possible. We can follow up with something
more formal later.
Thanks
Nick
-----Original Message-----
From: Brian Wines [mailto:BWines@waterboards.ca.govJ
Sent: Monday, March 05, 2007 4:39 PM
To: jgan@dfg.ca.gov; nkavas@petrainvestors.com
Subject: Re: updated project description: Sunol Blvd.
Hi Nick
The revised plans look OK to me. When can you get me plans for the
stormwater treatment feature? Will water from the treatment feature be
discharged to the creek on site, or to the local storm sewer system. I can't remember
whether or not an outfall will be needed for the stormwater treatment.
Thanks
Brian
» > "Nick Kavayiotidis" <nkavas@petrainvestors.com> 2/14/2007 5:31 PM
»> »>
Janice,
It appears I might need an extension for my 1600 application. The City of Pleasanton
asked me to change my alternate site plan (x-7, the one I had staked for you and Brian).
The new plan moves my building further South, thereby providing internal circulation on
the North end of my property (the City didn't want people to enter from the South, not
find parking and then have to exit and make two "U turns" to re-enter th e property.)
Don't worry.I've made sure any site plan changes do not encroach beyond the location of
the stakes and, in fact, the proposed plans will better address the proximity of stake #4
to the channel in the North East corner of the site, which I had agreed in our site
meeting to move to the South. I've overlapped the topo with stake locations over x-7 and
manually overlapped this over x-12. x-12, the site plan which I think will be approved,
is not any closer than x-7 was to the channel, and as you can see, the location of the
parking lot in the North East corner of x-12 is much further South compared to x-7 and no
longer intrusive to the drainage channel. While x-12 is hand drawn pending approval from
the City, I made great care to trace no further than the location of the stakes as marked
in "1989SITE.pdf". The architect's final version will comply with these stake locations.
So, I've been waiting for a response from the City before commencing on my
grading/drainage plan and landscape plan. I wanted to have a final site plan along with
input from my landscape architect prior to updating my application and project
description, but that doesn't appear it will happen before 2/22 or approximately 90 days
after my application was received.
However, if agreeable, please accept my updated project description changes below along
with the attached files, or if you prefer, please extend my application another 30 days or
so. Of course, if you have any suggestions to my description, or need me to fill out the
2
