,--. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 847 <br />.-. <br />A request for support of Alameda County Board of <br />Supervisors' request to State Legislature to amend <br />the State Master Plan for Scenic Highways to <br />include Routes X580 and ~~680, has come before this <br />Conmission, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has reviewed the findings of the Alameda County <br />Board of Supervisors to request to the State <br />Legislature to amend the Master Plan for Scenic <br />Highways to include Interstatea ~k580 and #680. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />matter and has examined pertinent maps, drawings <br />end documents and find that one or more of the <br />following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment to the State <br />Master Plan for Scenic Highways will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the General <br />Plan of the City of Pleasanton; <br />2. That the proposed amendment to the State <br />Master Plan is in the public interest and general <br />welfare; <br />3. That the proposed amendment to the State's <br />Master Plan for Scenic Highways will create a <br />more equitable condition for the cormaunity of <br />Pleasanton than now prevails; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Co®ission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby endorses the findings of <br />the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 8th day of January, 1969, by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioner Arnold <br />Commissioner Garrigan <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Commissioner Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br /> <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />11. REFERRALS FROM CITY COUNCIL <br />a. Letter from the City Council recommending limited terms of office for the <br />Commissioners, with the Chairmanship being rotated on a yearly basis. <br />The Commissioners concurred with this memorandum, and Mr. Arthur Plato <br />was designated as the new Chairman of the Planning Commission, with <br />Mr. Howard T.
