-~. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on <br />this petition and has examined the pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents and finds that <br />one or more of the following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the General <br />Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is is the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby recommends to City Council the <br />modification of RZ-69-1, as follows: <br />That the area of the convalescent hospital as <br />designated in the first stage be zoned as P(Public <br />and Institutional) District, that the area of the <br />medical suite complea as shown in the first stage <br />be zoned as 0 (Office) District, or that area <br />generally labeled ae Stage I on Exhibit A and <br />defined with an easterly boundary line approximately <br />450 ft. east of the west property line and parallel <br />to it; and that the remainder of the property be <br />held in an A (Agricultural) District until such <br />time that a complete medical study of the area be <br />taken and the highest and beat uan of that property <br />can be determined, as shown on Exhibit A. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY TH8 Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on the 12th <br />day of February, 1969, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioner Antonini <br />Commissioner Arnold <br />Commissioner Garrigan <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Chairman Plato <br />MOSS: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: Secretary Castro <br />b. The Planning Director referred to the <br />letter dated February 10, 1969, from Mr. Dudley Frost, the applicant, which eaplained <br />the elements in the proSect, together with a price list. <br />The price range, according to the staff, is barely going to qualifq the individuals <br />with an annual income of $10,000. There were no additional comments besides these <br />from the Planning Director, but he did add that he felt the Commission should get <br />involved with the concept first. <br />- 3 - <br />
