,I

b. Tentative Tract. May #2904, Pleasanton Valley
This item was again brought up to the Commissioners for further clarifi-
cation and~recommeadation for referral to City Council.
At the previous meeting held on February 12, 1969, the Commissioners
passed Resolution No. 857 extending Tentative Tract Map #2904 until
April 29, 1969.
Acting Secretary Aiello explained the situation to the Commissioners, stating
that #2904, although originally approved on March 29, 1967, did not in
actuality take effect until the approval date of Annexation #49 on July 6,
1967, which encompasses said Tract #2904. This original map expired on
July 6, 1968, but the applicant applied and received a one-year extension
to July 6, 1969,,which is permissible under the Subdivision Ordinance.
Consequently, the tentative tract map is still in effect and Resolution
No. 857, ie partially invalid.
Thus, it will be necessary that this matter be referred to the City Council
for their action in extending this tract map for as long as it can legally
be extended.
c. Mr. Campbell also advised the Commissioners that the City staff is now
working on setting up through historical ordinance, if possible, a method to
preserve structures with valuable or historical backgrounds.
14. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS
The Ccemzission mentioned that there seemed to be several signing problems, and
directed the staff to investigate the matters.
