~ • 2 I~ ~~ 14.MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MELEES a. Commissioner Arnold requested that the Commissioners be provided with up-to-date Zoning Ordinance booklets. b. The Commissioners felt some definite arrangements should be made regarding the procedure for receipt of all staff reports from the City staff on items scheduled for hearing before the Commissioners. With this thought in mind, upon motion of Vice Chairman Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and carried, the following resolution was offered: RESOLUTION N0. 889 Wf1EREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has considered a resolution of policy at their regular meeting of April 9, 1969, and, WBEREAS, said Co~isaion finds that in reviewing past procedures, ea id procedures lack the desire of the membership that all pertinent materials, documents, maps and drawings be submitted to them on the Friday noon prior to the Wednesday meeting so that an intelligent decision can be determined at the regular scheduled public hearing. NOW, T9EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton hereby approves said resolution of policy and the procedures contained therein. 1. That beginning with the next regular meeting on April 23, 1969, all staff reports from the various departments of the City shall be submitted to the Planning Depart- ment no later than the Friday noon prior to the Wednesday meeting, 2. That for any reason these reports are not contained in the packets submitted to the Commissioners on said Friday noon prior to the Wednesday meeting, the item in question will be continued to the next regular meeting, 3. That if new evidence ie submitted between the Friday noon packet deadline and the Wednesday meeting, then again, it will be the Commission's policy that these matters will be continued for the sole purpose of enabling the staff to review the new submittals. NOW, TfIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, approves said resolution as defined.
