~ • 2 I~ <br />~~ <br />14.MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MELEES <br />a. Commissioner Arnold requested that the Commissioners be provided with up-to-date <br />Zoning Ordinance booklets. <br />b. The Commissioners felt some definite arrangements should be made regarding the <br />procedure for receipt of all staff reports from the City staff on items scheduled <br />for hearing before the Commissioners. <br />With this thought in mind, upon motion of Vice Chairman Carrigan, seconded by <br />Commissioner Arnold, and carried, the following resolution was offered: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 889 <br />Wf1EREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has considered a resolution of <br />policy at their regular meeting of April 9, <br />1969, and, <br />WBEREAS, said Co~isaion finds that in reviewing past <br />procedures, ea id procedures lack the desire <br />of the membership that all pertinent materials, <br />documents, maps and drawings be submitted to <br />them on the Friday noon prior to the Wednesday <br />meeting so that an intelligent decision can <br />be determined at the regular scheduled public <br />hearing. <br />NOW, T9EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby approves said <br />resolution of policy and the procedures contained <br />therein. <br />1. That beginning with the next regular <br />meeting on April 23, 1969, all staff reports <br />from the various departments of the City <br />shall be submitted to the Planning Depart- <br />ment no later than the Friday noon prior to <br />the Wednesday meeting, <br />2. That for any reason these reports are <br />not contained in the packets submitted to <br />the Commissioners on said Friday noon prior <br />to the Wednesday meeting, the item in question <br />will be continued to the next regular meeting, <br />3. That if new evidence ie submitted between <br />the Friday noon packet deadline and the <br />Wednesday meeting, then again, it will be the <br />Commission's policy that these matters will <br />be continued for the sole purpose of enabling <br />the staff to review the new submittals. <br />NOW, TfIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton, approves said resolution as <br />defined. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 9th day of April, 1969, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioner Antonini <br />Commissioner Arnold <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Vice Chairman Carrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Chairman Plato <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />There being no further business, upon motion of Vice Chairman Carrigan, seconded by <br />Commissioner Antonini, and carried, the meeting was adjourned at 10:50 <br />_.-~ <br />~~--~ __ ~ <br />- 8 - <br />
