Review of house plans for Fairlanda development. <br />Mr. Castro presented two house plane for the Fairlanda development for the <br />Commission's review. This was a condition of approval for the Fairlanda <br />development. <br />The Commissioners did not find any problems or stated any objections to the <br />plans as presented by the developer. <br />8. COMMITNICATIONS. <br />a. Review of sidewalks in the Vallev Trails Subdivision. <br />This item was again reviewed. Afield trip was called but only two of the <br />Commissioners were able to attend. It was suggested that another field trip be <br />arranged, after which the staff will write a report and this item will be placed <br />on the agenda for disposition. <br />11. REFERRALS FROM CITY COUNCIL. <br />a. Resolution no. 880, Coatanzo-Wilson rezoning - RZ-69-8 <br />Request of City Council for recommendation regarding the approval of Exhibit B <br />of said tentative map X2855. <br />This matter was brought before the Co~isaioners. Mr. Castro explained to the <br />Commissioners the controversy regarding the approval of Exhibit B over the <br />Exhibit A, which was preferred by the majority of the City Council members. In <br />addition Exhibit A would have provided for a larger park area, with multiples <br />to the north of the park, whereas Exhibit B, which was the map apppoved by the <br />Co®isaioners contained a smaller park site, with single-family homes located <br />north of it. There was concern of the backup fences onto Santa Rita Road. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield, the engineer on the job, spoke in favor of Exhibit A. <br />The Commissioners reaffirmed their previous position taken which was approval <br />of Exhibit B. This motion was offered by Commissioner Antonini, seconded by <br />Commissioner Carrigan, with an aye vote from all the Commissioners except <br />Chairman Plato, who voted no to the Exhibit B reaffirmation. <br />13. MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF COIMiISSION. <br />a. Application of Ca3,iforn3a Nawaiian Mobile Estates, Inc., for construction of a <br />mobile home park at 3153 Vineyard Avenue, adjacent to South Bay Land Company's <br />proposed mobile home park at 3263 Vineyard Avenue, pending annexation to the <br />Citv of Pleasanton. <br />- This item was strictly for informational purposes. <br />Commissioner Antonini felt this item should not be considered unless the lease <br />on the adjacent Overpack property had expired. <br />This new park will contain 166 trailer spaces. There was some small discussion <br />regarding mobile homes being the housing answer to young families not in a <br />financial position to purchase a conventional home. <br />There being no further business, upon motion of Chairman Plato, seconded by Commissioner <br />Antonini, and carried, the meeting was adjourns' -` '^•" °" <br />- 7 - <br />
