r. -~ <br />Commissioner Gibbs was interested to determine what the developer's intentions <br />were in requesting this zone change. Mr. Castro advised the Co®isaion that <br />it would be perfectly proper to modify the District to another one subject to <br />whatever findings the Co~iasioa chose to make. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Co®issioner Gibbs, and carried, <br />the following resolution was adopted unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 906 <br />WHEREAS, the application of D & V Builders, Inc., to rezone <br />from the A (Agricultural) District to the BM-2500 <br />(Multiple Family) District that property generally <br />located east of Nopyard Road and south of the Del <br />Valle Parkway, said property containing 22.77 gross <br />acres, more or less, and described in Assessor's <br />Map Book 946, Page 3375, Parcel 2-2, has come before <br />this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFOBE BB IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby takes said application of <br />D & V Builders, RZ-69-10, under advisement until <br />the next regular meeting of the Planning Commission <br />on June 11, 1969. <br />8. COMMUNICATIONS. <br />a. Letter from Mrs. Wave L. Peterson regarding storage rental of garage area of a <br />duplex located at 344-346 West Anstela Street is a RM-1500 District. <br />Mrs. Peterson wished to have this matter brought before the Commission for further <br />disposition. <br />Chairman Plato felt that perhaps the zoning ordinance could be made a little more <br />flexible to accommodate situations such as Mrs. Peterson's. <br />Mr. Castro, Planning Director, referred to the staff report and various letters <br />regarding this application, which explained the situation and clarified the <br />differences in the uses of s single-family and multiple family areas. <br />Mrs. Peterson was in the audience and maintained that she was not aware that she <br />could not rent the extra garage space for storage of boats. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and <br />carried, a resolution recommending denial of the use of the garage for rental <br />space was offered, with Co®issioners Antonini and Garrigan voting yes, and <br />Commissioner Gibbs and Chairman Plato voting no. <br />Since the Commissioners felt a decision could not be reached that evening with <br />only four Commissioners serving on the Board, upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, <br />seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, the following resolution wes adopted <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 907 <br />WBBREAS, the application of Wava L. Peterson under Z-68-80, <br />to construct additional detached garage apace at <br />344-346 W. Angela Street, has been reviewed by <br />this Commission, <br />NOW, TBEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pending the appointment of a <br />fifth Commissioner, that this referral be continued <br />until the meeting of June 11, 1969. <br />b. Tract #3102 - Fa leader Romes <br />Mr. Jack Boatedt, representing MacKay & Somps, presented a request from the <br />architect's office in Los Angeles regarding a modification of the front yard <br />setback for Plan #1 of the model homes only, in order to reduce the froatyard <br />setback.
