.. ~ <br />M I N U T E S <br />PLANNING CC~ILSISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Pleasanton Justice Court <br />30 Weat Angela Street <br />September 3, 1969 <br />The meeting of the Planning Commission, postponed from August 27, 1969, was called to <br />order by Chairman Garrigan at 8:00 PM. <br />1. ROLL CALL. <br />PRESENT Commissioner Antonini <br />Commissioner Pereira <br />Commissioner Pons <br />Chairman Garrigan <br />Secretary Castro <br />ABSENT Commissioner Gibbs <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES. <br />Upon motion of Chairman Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Pons, and carried, <br />the minutes of the meeting of August 13, 1969, were approved as submitted. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA. <br />Additions - 8a. Communication from Dr. Howard Long. <br />8b. Fa lender Homes setbacks. <br />13c. Kaiser Industries' minor subdivisions. <br />13d. Status of survey on Valley Trails sidewalks. <br />13e. Further clarification of Art. 2 and Art. 13 of Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 520, time permitting. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS. <br />a. UP-69-15 Humble Oil rand Refining Comoanv <br />Application to allow the erection of an automotive service station on that <br />property described as the southwest quadrant of Interstate X580 and Hopyard <br />Road containing 1.0 acres, more or less, in an I-G (General Industry) District. <br />(Public Hearing continued from July 23, 1969). <br />and <br />13a. Service Station Study <br />Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Hearing. Planning Director Castro advised <br />the Commission that he had no further comments to offer in the way of reports, <br />but for benefit of the newer members of the Commission and for clarification <br />of service station sites, Mr. Castro demonstrated a map showing the Willow West <br />properties with the service station sites envisioned for that development. <br />Further clarification was furnished by another site plan, pointing out all <br />service station sites, already in existence, approved at this time, those being <br />applied for, or those argas:r3here existing zoning would permit service stations. <br />Considerable discussion followed. <br />- 1 - <br />
