,-~ <br />M I N U T E S <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Pleasanton Justice Court <br />30 West Angela Street <br />September 10, 1969 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by <br />Chairman Carrigan at 8:00 PM. <br />1. ROLL CALL. <br />PRESENT Commissioner Antonini <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Commissioner Pereira <br />Commissioner Pons <br />Chairman Carrigan <br />Secretary Castro <br />ABSENT None <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES. <br />This item was deferred to September 24, 1969, as no minutes were submitted of the <br />September 3, 1969 meeting. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA. <br />Deletions - The Planning Director requested continuance of Items 5a, 5b and 9a <br />to the meeting of September 24, 1969. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS. <br />a. Sec. 2.112, Zoning Ordinance No. 520 <br />Application of the Planning Commission ^for an amendment to Sec. 2.112 of Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 520 regarding frontyard setbacks for storage of vehicles other <br />than automobiles. <br />Chariman Carrigan opened the Public Hearing. Considerable discussion ensued <br />regarding interpretation of the frontyard and sideyard setback as it relates <br />to corner lots for the storage of items other than automobiles. <br />The City Attorney offered some ideas regarding an appropriate amendment which <br />would encompass the entire problem. Therefore, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Gibbs, seconded by Commissioner Pons, and carried, the Public Hearing was continued. <br />Upon motion of Chairman Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, <br />it was moved to continue this item to the meeting of September 24, 1969, to allow <br />the City Attorney sufficient time to prepare a final draft for this amendment. <br />b. RZ-69-17 (A ), Reynold C. Johnson Company <br />Application to rezone from the I-G-3 acres (General Industry, minumum lot size <br />3 acres) District, to the I-G-40,000 (General Industry, minimum lot size <br />40,000 sq. ft.) District, that parcel of land described as a portion of Parcel 1-6 <br />Assessor's Map Book 941, Block 1200, a portion of Parcel 2-7, Assessor's Map Book 941 <br />Block 1220, a portion of Parcel 1-4 Assessor's Map Book 941, Block 1300, containing <br />32.0 acres, more or less. <br />Chairman Carrigan opened the Public Hearing. He further read the report from <br />the Public Works Director in its entirety, as this report was not available until <br />the time of the Public Hearing. The Public Works Department was requesting <br />continuance of the map as it did not contain sufficient information to make a <br />thorough study of it, nor did it comply with the Subdivision Ordinance <br />requirements. <br />-1- <br />
