The Planning Director referred to a letter received from the Planning Director
of Alameda County regarding the sand and gravel permit granted Kaiser Sand and
Gravel in June, 1965 for the Mayo, Feidler and Busch property. Condition No. 24
required that within two years from approval a reclamation plan for the area be
submitted. Apparently there are still problems as to what the plans will be.
It was the opinion of the Alameda County Planning Director to recommend to the
Board of Supervisors to modify Condition No. 24 by adopting a resolution which
would delete the two-year requirement and require instead that the reclamation
plan be submitted and approved prior to sand and gravel excavation. The
Commissioners had no objection to this proposal.
13. MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF THE COMMISSION.
a.
