S ~\ '\
9. That the minimum street width shall be 40 ft.
in right-of-way, plus a 6 ft. easement on both
sides of the street.
10. That public service easements be granted for
the water and sewer facilities if these are to be
publicly owned and maintained and if the private
streets are approved.
11. That no on-street parking shall be provided on
the streets, all off-street parking and loading
facilities shall be on-site.
12. That the requirements of the Subdivision Ordinance
and State law be strictly followed in conjunction
with subsequent steps of this subdivision.
13. That the minimum building setback line from
curb shall be 35 ft., said setback shall apply
to the entire development.
10. REFERRALS FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY.
a. The Planning Director referred to a letter received from the Planning Director
of Alameda County regarding the sand and gravel permit granted Kaiser Sand and
Gravel in June, 1965 for the Mayo, Feidler and Busch property. Condition No. 24
required that within two years from approval a reclamation plan for the area be
submitted. Apparently there are still problems as to what the plans will be.
It was the opinion of the Alameda County Planning Director to recommend to the
Board of Supervisors to modify Condition No. 24 by adopting a resolution which
would delete the two-year requirement and require instead that the reclamation
plan be submitted and approved prior to sand and gravel excavation. The
Commissioners had no objection to this proposal.
13. MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF THE COMMISSION.
a. The Planning Director advised of revised meeting dates for the months of November
and December, due to the holidays.
The new dates will be: November 5 and November 19
December 3 and December 17
b. A study session was planned for October 15, with another tentatively set for
November 12, should it be necessary.
The items to be discussed will be:
Office District Study
General Design Review Problems
Sunol area
Townhouses
There being no further matters, upon motion of Chairman Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner
Antonini, and carried, the meeting was adjourned at 11:20 PM.
- 11 -
