. .~ -. <br />4~~~a""~°~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCte : October 22, 1969 <br />Time : s:oo PM <br />PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Public Hearing was opened by Chairman <br />The Planning Director explained the back- <br />ground. This parcel of land has not yet <br />been annexed to the City of Pleasanton, and <br />in fact has not yet been introduced to the <br />L.A.F.C., and essentially, any action taken <br />by the Commission would be subject to the <br />parcel being annexed to Pleasanton. <br />The Director of Public Works expressed his <br />concern regarding traffic circulation. <br />The engineer, Mr. Ted Fairfield, expressed <br />certain views regarding the report of the <br />Public Works Department and the conditions <br />as imposed. <br />Considerable discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Don Taylor, Pacific Telephone & <br />Telegraph - was present and spoke regarding <br />his concern on the Transcontinental right- <br />of-way they have which runs through one <br />of the lots in this subdivision. Mr. Ted <br />Fairfield disputed Mr. Taylor's remarks <br />and further discussion ensued. <br />Because no conclusions could be drawn from <br />certain problems involved, it was felt <br />by the Commission that this item should be <br />continued to November 5, 1969. <br />ZONE AMENDMENT William Struthers - Application to rezone Resolution: <br />RZ-69-21 from the A (Agricultural) District to the Seconded: <br />Res. 959, Denied C-C (Community Commercial) District that Ayea: <br />property described as Parcel 2 of Assessor's Noes: <br />Map Book 946, Block 3295, containing 1.0 ac. Absent: <br />more or less. This property is more common- Abstain: <br />ly known as that area due west of Santa <br />Rita Road and due north and adjacent to <br />the Western Sierra Lumber Company property. <br />-5- <br />
