"`~8A"~°y CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dafe : November 5, 1969
Time : s:oo PM
PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court
The Public Hearing was opened by Chairman
Garrigan.
Mr. John De Falco, representing the appli-
cant, was present and spoke in favor of
the application.
Mrs. Dorothy Miller, 2667 Vineyard Avenue,
spoke in opposition of the application,
citing in particular the traffic problem
in relation to the width of Vineyard Avenue.
Mrs. Miller's husband was also present and
he too spoke in opposition of this mobile
home park.
There being no further comments, the public
hearing was closed.
There were many questions from the Co~-
iasioners regarding the tea base, the
traffic on Vineyard Avenue, the School
District's situation, etc.
The conclusion was drawn that perhaps the
total of the units in this submittal, plus
the adjoining park, should its legal
problems be solved, may present too many
mobile home unite for the City of
Pleasanton to cope with at this particular
time.
Several resolutions were offered by the
Commissioners, which did not receive a
majority vote.
Considerable discussion ensued among the
Commissioners.
After further deliberation, a resolution
recommending denial of the application was
entered and passed.
- 6 -
