CITY i?F PLSASA\TON <br />COUNTY CF Ah 1~iCDA, STATE Ole CALIFORNIA <br />?MINUTES <br />The regular adjourned meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was held <br />Monday, August 6, 1956 at 8:00 F.?I. in the Citp Hall with Chairman Hansen <br />presiding. <br />Roll Call showed present: Commissioners Abrott,Collier,Hewitson,Nevis and <br />Hansen. Absent; Commissioner Hanifen. <br />Communications• <br />1. Jotxn J. Thomas, Planning Director for the County Planning Commission, <br />requested a joint meeting with the Pleasanton Planning Commission to <br />discuss matters of mutual concern. The Co::cnission agreed that September <br />19, 1956 would be a suitable date axxd instructed the secretary to write <br />the Coxmty Planning Commission designating that date for a meeting. <br />2. G. H. Loosmore, District :Manager Pacific Gas and Electric Company, stated <br />that the tentative map of Tract #1825 was discussed and that they have no <br />gas or electric facilities that interfere with this development. <br />3. Bureau of Sanitation, having reviewed the tentative subdivision map of <br />Tract # 1825 and noting that the tract will be provided with public water <br />supply and oublic sei,~age collection facilities, have no further cor;unents or <br />recommendations. <br />4. The letter on Yarkview Tract, addressed to ~ir. ISenneth Richardson, was read <br />to the Commission. :~o action iaas taken. <br />5. Bryan and Murphy requested variances to Ordinance #230 for Tract ~ 1825. <br />1. Lots 1 and 5 in Block 3 to have an area of 5900 sq. ft. <br />2. :111 lots to be residential except Lot 1, Block 4, which is to be <br />zoned for business and professional uses. <br />3. Graharn Street to have a grading of 0.25. The Co::unission granted a vari- <br />ance for Graham Street to have a grading of from 0.30% to 0.25. <br />A Public Hearing was held on Roy Jensen~s Tentative ~•Sap Tract ~{ 18L5. The ten- <br />tative subdivision map of Tract # 1825 was presented to the Plaxming Cosunission <br />with Conditions of Approval, submitted by Engineer Pestana. The Conditions <br />are as follows: <br />1-A The Planning Commission should at this time consider the alignment that <br />should be ptiven to the frontage road which is adjacent to the property <br />of the City and County of San Francisco (Pumping Station.) <br />1-B 'minimum lot area within 'Pract 1825 to be 6,000 square feet; minimum <br />average width of lots to be 60 feet. Use of land: Single Family- <br />Residential. <br />2. All provisions of the City of 1leasanton Subdivision Ordinance shall <br />be comolied with. <br />3. At the northerly end of the frontage road drainage to ire carried westerly <br />into the existing ditch along Santa Rita itoad; a draina~_e release from the <br />City and County of San Francisco shall be provided for construction or <br />draina.ee entering their property. <br />4. The area designated as "Business and Professional Lot" shall not be a part <br />of this subdivision. <br />
