PACB TWO <br />WHER&AS, the azisting zoning ordinance of the City of Pleasanton <br />adopted on 1 Febrnar~, 1954 and amended on 28 May, 1956, does not distinguish <br />between the use of land for professional services and use for other coasurkial <br />purposes, and <br />WfOsREAS, the City of Pleasanton is in the process of coapleting a <br />general plan of development which will include the revision of the aforesaid <br />Zoning Ordinance: <br />NOW TliER&FOR&, as an interim aeasnre pending the adoption of a <br />revised Zoning Ordinance, the aforesaid property is hereby rezoned for non- <br />residential use subject to the following restrictions: <br />1) The property any be employed sole],T in the following uaess <br />(a) Administrative and ezecntive offices. <br />(b) Professional offices and sedical clitica. <br />(e) Off-street parking lots required to service persdtted saes. <br />(d) Accessory buildings sad appurtenant to permitted urea. <br />(e) One sign appurtenant to permitted uses, no sign to exceed <br />two (2) square feet in area. <br />2) Stracturea shall be essentially residential in character and shall <br />harmonise the architecture of ezisting strnctarea adjacent to them. <br />3) No structure shall be is e=cesa of one story or fifteen (1S) feet in <br />height.. <br />4) Off-street parking apace for each txo hundred (200) square feet of <br />office floor space plus one (1) parking space for each employee or <br />staff member shall be provided. <br />5) Nfaziiw:m lot coverage shall be 25$. <br />6) A permanently landscaped strip ne less than ten (10) feet wide abutting <br />residential property lines and no leas than twenty (20) feet aide abut- <br />ting all public streets shall be maintained. <br />7) Curb breaks giving access to the property shall not occur closer than <br />Fifty (50) feet from the nearest curb of an intersecting street. Curb <br />breaks shall be no wider than twenty (20) feet and shall be separated <br />from the adjacent breaks by a curb ao less than Lhirty (30) feet in <br />length. <br />8) A clearly legible site plan xith all dimensions drain to scale and <br />architectural draxinga including a perspective draxing of all buildings <br />to he erected shall be submitted to the Planning Coaaissioa for <br />approval prior to the comaencement of sny construction activity. <br />9) One directory sign to be placed on the premises, not to exceed one <br />handred forty-four (144) square inches in size for each office. <br />10) Construction. to begin one year from the date of adoption. <br />The propeaed trailer ordinance was discussed and the Comtoission ruled that it <br />would like more tine to sake recommendations to the City Council on this <br />matter. Harold Wise Associates will also aid in thin study. <br />New Buaineaa• <br />Tentative Subdivision Tract Mapa #1841 and X1850 were studied. <br />There being no further business to cone before the Co~isaion, the meeting <br />was adjourned to seat again in adjourned session on November 1, 1956, at <br />8:00 p.a, in the City Nall. <br />~L.f%L~ <br />3&C&BTARY <br />
