I <br />f <br />PLANNING CO~fISSION OF THE CITY OF PLSASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAIOiDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />14INUTS3 <br />The regular adjourned sleeting of the Planning Comroiasion was called to <br />order at 8:110 p.m. on October 25, 1956 in the City Hall, Chairsian <br />Hansen presiding. <br />loll Call shored present: Cossaiasionera Abrott, Collier, Nanifen, Hexitaon, <br />v~3ns as Hansen. Absent: None. <br />The ainutes of the previous meetings were read and approved as read. <br />Correauondence: <br />Public hearings on Tracts 1850 and 1841 xere announced. <br />The report, requested by the Department of Finance, xas read and approved. <br />The Chamber of Commerce requested before the Cossnission approve or grant <br />a request for trailer courts consideration:: be given as to location, <br />restrictions and requirements so as not to detract from the high standards <br />sf the City. <br />An invitation xas issued by the Fast Bay Netropelitan Plazu:ing Council <br />to join xith them in their Planning Council on November 30, 1956. <br />Alameda County Planning Conssission subdivision hearings on Tract 1841 and <br />1850 xere announced. <br />The City Council requested the Commission give consideration to the drafting <br />of an ordinance prohibiting the keeping of rabbits and chickens xithin the <br />City limits. This matter rill be studied further on the November 15th <br />meeting. <br />Old Busiaeass <br />On moti®n of Commissioner Nevis, seconded by Commissioner Hanifea and <br />approved by all Coma~fasioaers present, it xas decided to deny the <br />variance of Jack Florio to build a garage 6 inches from the property <br />line.. <br />On motion of Commissioner Hewitson, seconded by Commissioner Nevis and <br />passed uoanimonalp, the variance, requested by Sherman Nexton to build <br />extra room on his homy xas granted. <br />Following a discussion of Roy Jenaen's "Professional Center'j it was moved <br />by Coasiasioner Abrett, seconded by Commissioner Collier and approved by <br />all Cossdssioners present, to resolve to accept the area knorm as Jeaaen'a <br />•Professional Center" as follows: <br />BE IT RSSOLVID: <br />WEDBiSAS, it is considered in the interest of the public welfare to <br />ptpmit the location of professional offices in the property whose description <br />is as folloxas <br />Beginning at a point on the northerly line of the parcel <br />of land described in the deed from Hsrie lath et. al. <br />to Pleasanton Development Corporation, dated July Z0, 1955, <br />recorded duly 21, 1955, in Book 7726«ef Official Re~orda <br />of Alameda County at pg. 250, said point bei~ 8 89 55' 26• S, <br />40.39 feet from the Saseerty line of Santa R~ta Road (County <br />Road No. 1533) 66 feet in width; thence S 89 55' 26• S, 241.9? <br />fcet; thence 3 00 47'46• W, 206.57 feet to a point oa the arc <br />of a circle of radius 150.00 feet; the center of xhich bears <br />S 330 59'11• W from acid point; thence Northxesterly along said <br />arc to the left a distance of 67.96 feet; thence NelO 58'15•W, <br />180.00 feel; theme along a circle to the right, tangent to the <br />last sieetioned course $aviag a radian of 20 feet a distance of <br />31.42 ft; thence N 8 01'45• S, 150.72 feet to the point of <br />beginai <br />
