Y' <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CI'PY OF PLEA5ANTON <br />COQNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />MINUTES <br />The regular adjourned meeting of the Planning Commission xas calllid to order <br />on November 1, 1956, in the Citp Hall at 8:00 p.m., Chairman Hansen presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Commiaafonera Abrott, Collier, Hanifen, Hexitson, Nevis <br />and Hansen <br />Absent: None <br />The mimttes of the previous meeting were approved as preaemted. <br />Old Business: Correspondence pertinent to Tract No. 1841 was read as follows: <br />Alameda County Health Department: No com~ent except taw~- that water distri- <br />bution system should be shows on final map prior to approval. <br />P. G. E.: No gas or electric facilities to interfere with this development. <br />County Planning Commission as follows: <br />The street design of this tract should be related to as acceptable <br />study of the gsneral area showing develepment northerly of this tract, in- <br />eluding at least the area in the ownership of the subdivider, and showing <br />the system of circulation and potential street location, alignment and <br />gradient. <br />The subdivider should be required to dedicate and 3apaove Minnie Street <br />fret the westerly boundary of this tract to the Pleasanton-8uao1 Road <br />xith a minimum of 42 feet of pavement and with curb, gutter and sidewalk <br />at least oa the southerly side. The Street's location and alignment should <br />be .established particularly in terms of previous maps before the City.. <br />Sizes of lots should be increased to provide a minimum frontage of 70 feet <br />and adequate approzimate outdoor living area on lots having cross slppea <br />or lots located in steeper areas. <br />Alameda. County Flood Control and Water Conservation District: <br />1) Modify the proposed storm-drainage system as shown in red en the <br />tentative map aabmitted herewith. <br />2) .Location of additional inlets on Minnie Street are approzimate and <br />are shown to ittdicate that provision should be made 2or future land <br />development northerly of Minnie Street. <br />3) It fa understood by this District that the City of Pleasanton will <br />require a 42-inch R. C. P. in Minnie~3treet from Third Street to <br />First Street tfhich will connect te" the existi~ 42-inch R. C. P. <br />under F'iret §treet. This pipe vrll require a minimum }hydraulic <br />elope of 0.0030. <br />4) No provision has been snide to contim:e the proposed system in Minnie <br />Street from Third Street to the westerly boundary of Tract 1841. <br />It is not possible at this time to determine the size of pipe required <br />since street pattern for proposed Tract 1815 is not known. <br />5) Afield inspection shown that the eziating 42-inch pipe under First <br />Street is badly silted and that the drainage ditch from First Street <br />to the intersection of Main Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad <br />Heads to be cleared. <br />6) The esiating channel downstream from the intersection of Maier Street <br />and the Southern Pacific Railroad has been subject to overflow in <br />the past into the area occupied by the City of Pleasanton's Sewage <br />Hisposal Spreading Grounds. The development of this tract will add <br />to this problem. <br />City Engineer's Conditions of Approval were read. <br />
