IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />January 21, 1960 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to <br />order at the City Hall on January 21, 1960 at 8:05 P.M. Chairman Hanifen presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Commissioners Landon, Lozano and Chairman Hanifen <br />Absent -Commissioners Allison and Mitchell <br />On motion oY Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved by <br />all present, the minutes of January 7, 1960 were approved as forwarded by the Secretary. <br />Mr. George Mills came before the Commission in regard to his Conditional Zoning Permit <br />to establish, on a smell scale, a cabinet shop at 228 Kottinger Avenue. This shop is <br />to be located in his barn that is already on the property. This is to be full time <br />work and he would be doing all of the work himself. The immediate neighbors have no <br />objection in turning this barn into a cabinet shop, but the Commissioners present <br />deemed it necessary to call a public hearing and set the date for February 4, 1960 <br />at 8:00 P.M. All residents in this area are to be advised. <br />Mr. Jack Line then came before the Commission in regard to his establishing a taxi <br />office and waiting room at 612 Main Street. At the present time, there is no taxi <br />service in Pleasanton, and Mr. Line is in the process of filing a taxi permit with <br />the Police Chief. The Commissioners present saw no reason in not granting this <br />permit, and on motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and <br />approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. 85, approving the CONDITIONAL <br />ZONING PERMIT under the following conditions, was passed: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85 <br />Granting Conditional Zoning Permit on Application of Jack Line, 612 Main Street, <br />Pleasanton, California, filed January 14, 1960, for commercial use. <br />The above described application, having been duly considered, pursuant to <br />Ordinance No. 293, of the City of Pleasanton, and good cause appearing; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows: <br />1) That no public hearing is deemed necessary in the public interest in <br />this matter. <br />2) That the Planning Commission finds the conditions of Section 2.22 oY <br />Ordinance No. 293 pertaining to commercial uses have been met. <br />3) That a CONDITIONAL ZONING PERMIT is hereby granted for a period of six <br />(6) months, effective this date. <br />4) That the Secretary is hereby instructed to forward copies of this Resolu- <br />tion to the applicant, city officers and any other interested parties. <br />Mr. William E. Clark came before the Commission for a Conditional Zoning Permit to <br />establish an electrical contracting and sales repair shop at 608 Main Street. The <br />Commissioners present saw no reason in not granting this permit, and on motion of <br />Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved by all Commissioners <br />present, RESOLUTION N0. 86, approving the CONDITIONAL ZONING PERMIT under the fol- <br />lowing conditions, was passed: <br />
