IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />February 4, 1960 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to order <br />at the City Hall on February 4, 1960 at 8:05 P.M. Acting Chairman Lozano presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Commissioners Allison, Landon and Lozano <br />Absent -Commissioners Mitchell and Hanifen <br />On motion oP Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Allison, and approved by all <br />present, the minutes of January 21, 1960 were approved as forwarded by the Secretary. <br />Mr. George Mills came before the Commission with an amended application for a Conditional <br />Zoning Permit to operate a cabinet shop at 4407 Railroad Avenue. This area is zoned for <br />such business and the Commissioners present saw no reason for not granting this permit, <br />and on motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Allison, and approved by <br />all Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. 87, approving the CONDITIONAL ZONING PERMIT <br />under the following conditions, was passed: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 <br />Granting Conditional Zoning Permit on amended application of George Mills, 4407 <br />Railroad Avenue, Pleasanton, California, filed January 26, 1960, for commercial <br />use. <br />The above described application, having been duly considered, pursuant to <br />Ordinance No. 293, of the City of Pleasanton, and good cause appearing; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows: <br />1) That no public hearing is deemed necessary in the public interest in <br />this matter. <br />2) That the Planning Commission finds the conditions of Section 2.22 of <br />Ordinance No. 293 pertaining to commercial uses have been met. <br />3) That a CONDITIONAL ZONING PERMIT is hereby granted for a period of <br />six (6) months, effective this date, subject to the following con- <br />dition: <br />a) Should meet building code <br />4) That the Secretary is hereby instructed to forward copies of this <br />Resolution to the applicant, city officers and any other interested <br />parties. <br />Mr. Trimingham and Mr. William Ralph, Chairman of the Board of Directors Alameda County <br />Fairgrounds, came before the Commission in regard to the Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Trailer Park. Mr. Trimingham presented maps to the Commission showing the proposed <br />trailer park with individual sewer and water connections. This proposed park meets all <br />State Housing regulations. Adjacent to this area, the plans show 12 acres for the park- <br />ing of temporary trailers which is to be used during the Fair. The Commissioners present <br />saw no reason in not granting this permit, and on motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded <br />by Commissioner Allison, and approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. 88, <br />approving the CONDITIONAL ZONING PERMIT under the following conditions, was passed: <br />
