IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />February 18, 1960 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Con¢nission was called to order <br />at the City Hall on February 18, 1960 at 8:05 P.M. Chairman Hanifen presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Commissioners Landon, Lozano and Hanifen <br />Absent -Commissioners Allison and Mitchell <br />On motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Igzano, and approved by all pre- <br />sent, the minutes of February 4, 1960 were approved as forwarded by the Secretary. <br />Mr. Roy N. Jensen, representing Amador Valley Homes, Inc., came before the Commission with <br />his application for a k' Front yard variance to construct a dwelling on a lot that does not <br />meet setback requirements located in Tract 2110, Lot 1, Block 3, Pioneer Village. Commissioner <br />Landon made a motion that the City Council be informed that the Planning Commission has no <br />objection to this variance, and on this motion, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved <br />by all present, RESOLUTION N0. 90, approving the VARIANCE, was passed: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90 <br />Granting Variance on Application of Amador Valley Homes, Inc., Tract 2110, Lot 1, <br />Block 3, Pioneer Village, Pleasanton, California, filed February 1, 1960, for <br />relief from setback requirements required by un-repealed portions of Ordinance <br />No. 228, as amended. <br />The above described application, having been duly considered, pursuant to <br />Ordinance No. 228, as amended, of the City of Pleasanton, and good cause appearing; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows: <br />1) That public hearing has been duly held. <br />2) That the Planning Commission finds the conditions requiring such a <br />Variance have been met. <br />3) That a VARIANCE is hereby recommended as follows: <br />4' front yard variance to construct a <br />dwelling on a lot that does not meet <br />setback requirements located in Tract <br />2110, Lot 1, Block 3, Pioneer Village <br />4) That the Secretary is hereby instructed to forward copies of this <br />Resolution to the applicant, city officers and any other interested <br />parties. <br />Report on the Alameda County Master Plan was deferred until the next regularly scheduled <br />meeting on March 3, 1960. <br />Billie McGill came before the Commission with an application for a Conditional Zoning Permit <br />to operate a shop for the installation and maintenance of TV antennas and repair of auto <br />radios at 122 Main Street, Pleasanton, California. This shop is to operate under the name <br />of "Willy's Auto Radio and TV Antenna Service". The Commissioners present saw no reason <br />for not granting this permit, and on motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner <br />Landon, and approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. gl, approving the CON- <br />DITIONAL ZONING PERMIT under the following conditions, was passed: <br />Y .. <br />
