<br />'The regularly scheduled meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to
<br />order at the City Hall on May 1), 1960, at 8:00 P.M.. Chairman Chris Hanifen presiding.
<br />ROLL CALL: Present - Commissioners .Landon, Lazano and Hanifen.
<br />Absent -Commissioners Allison and Mitchell.
<br />On motion of Cormnissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Iazano, and approved by all
<br />Commissioners present, the minutes of May 5, 1960 were approved as forwarded.
<br />Mr. Plorman Warnow then came before the Commission with his application for a Conditional
<br />Zoning Permit to erect a Service Station at the southwest corner of lst and Ray Streets.
<br />On Motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Hanifen, and approved by all
<br />Commissioners present, a Public Searing was called for June 2, 1960, at 8:00 P.M..
<br />t•1r. II. J. Deetz then came before the Commission with his application fora Conditional
<br />7,oning Permit to erect a Ru'ober Research and Engineerir.I; Plant at 4227 Pleasanton Avenue.
<br />The Commission postponed the application until the June 2, 1960 meeting. The Commis-
<br />sioners and Secretary will visit the Rubber Research and Engineering Plant in Hayward
<br />on Tuesday, May 24, 1960, at 2:00 P.M. to see for themselves what the plant will be
<br />that they intend to build in Pleasanton.
<br />Del Mar Pools then came before the Planning Commission with their application for a
<br />Conditional Zoning Permit to construct a swimming pool at 717 East Angela Street. On
<br />Motion of Commissioner Tendon, seconded by Commissioner Iazano, and approved by all
<br />Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. 107 was granted.
<br />RESOLUTION 107
<br />Granting Conditional Zoning Permit on Application of Del Mar Pools, 471 West "A" Street,
<br />Hayward, California, filed Slay 16, 1960, for residential use.
<br />The above described application, having been duly considered, pursuant to Ordinance
<br />No. 293 of the L'ity of Pleasanton, and good cause appearing;
<br />IdOYr TIIEREPORE, the Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows:
<br />I) That no public hearing is deemed necessary in the public interest in this matter.
<br />2) That the Planning Commission finds the conditions of Secion 2.21 of Ordinance
<br />No. 293 pertaining to residential uses have been met.
<br />3) That a COTdDITIONAL ZONIiSG PERMIT is hereby granted fox• a period of six (6)
<br />months, effective this date, subject to tixe following conditions:
<br />a) ;'he pool be constructed as showZZ on the plot plan.
<br />b) The pool be enclosed by a minimum 4' fence or wall.
<br />4) That the Secretary is hereby instructed to forward copies of this Resolution
<br />to the applicant, city officers and any other interested parties.
<br />lfix•s. Rogers then came before the Commission with her application for a Conditional
<br />Zoning Permit to change the location of her Ceramic Shop at 818 Main Street to 428
<br />Main Street. On Motion of Commission Lazano, seconded by Commissioner Landon, and
<br />Gpproved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTIOII N0. 108 was granted.

<br />Avenue, Pleasanton, California, filed May 17, 1960, for commercial use.
