IN THE PIANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF AIAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />August 4, 1960 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to <br />order at the City Hall on August 4, 1960 at 8:05 P.M. with Chairman Ralph Mitchell <br />presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: present - Commissioners Landon and LOZariO <br />Absent -Commissioners Allison and Hanifen <br />The minutes of July 21, 1960 were corrected to read, " 30' minimum paved street <br />allowing limited parking within the existing and proposed 40' right of way improved <br />to City Standards. This Street to be stubbed off at the northwesterly boundary of <br />Tract 2217. On motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and <br />approved by all Commissioners present the minutes of July 21, 1960 were approved as <br />corrected. <br />Public Hearing was then held on the application of John J. Amaral for a 4' Variance <br />from sideyard requirements, to construct a garage at 261 Spring Street. Discussion. <br />Public Hearing closed. On Motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lozano, and approved by all Commissioners present RESOLUTION 113 was granted. <br />RESOLUTION ll3 <br />Whereas, the application of John J. Amaral for a 4' Variance to sideyard require- <br />ments under Ordinance X309 (Zoning Ordinance) as amended, having come before this <br />Commission August ~+, 1960, the Planning Commission does hereby Resolve as follows: <br />1. The Planning Commission does find as follows: <br />a) Notice has been given as required by law. <br />b) The circumstances required by section 19.1003 of said Ordinance X309 do <br />exist. <br />2. A 2' Variance is hereby granted. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties. <br />Public Hearing was then held on the application of Ralph Pahlmeyer for an Amendment <br />to the Zoning Ordinance in District Boundaries from R2 to CT for lots 4, 5, and 6 <br />( 4568 - 4584 ) First Street. Ned Robinson and others spoke in behalf of the applicant <br />and presented a petition, which was filed with the clerk. Herman Kolln and other <br />property owners of the neighborhood protested the application, and filed a petition <br />against the rezoning. Public Hearing was closed. On motion of Commissioner Landon, <br />seconded by Commissioner Mitchell, the Planning Commission adopted RESOLUTION 114 <br />recommending to the City Council that the application be denied, on the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Tendon and Mitchell <br />Noes: Commissioner Lozano <br />Absent: Commissioners Allison and Hanifen <br />RESOIA7TION 114 <br />Whereas, Public Hearing was duly held after notice required by law, and good <br />cause appearing, The Planning Commission does hereby Resolve as follows: <br />1. The Planning Commission does hereby recosmnend to the City Council that the <br />Application of Ralph Pahlmeyer for Rezoning be denied. <br />
