Pleasanton Planning Commission feels that present planning area inadequate, <br />expresses their desire to expand area as follows: 500 feet west of ridge oi' <br />hills as westerly boundary; Isabel Avenue to be easterly boundary; Highway 50 <br />northerly boundary; Sunol southerly boundary. Commissioner Landon recommended <br />the Staff be authorized to consider and submit recommendations on future goals <br />for the area, in written form, for the Commission's consideration at their next <br />meeting. <br />Dr. Beatty asked if the relocation of the Livermore Airport would be con- <br />sidered in conjunction with the study of revised Master Planning Area. Mr. Hales <br />stated a Staff report RE: the airport will be presented to the Commission during <br />the Y'irst part of April. <br />Dr. Beatty also questioned the length oi' time the study of the expanded <br />Master Plan would require. Mr. Fates estimated that it would be approximately <br />three months before a detailed report could be submitted to the City Planning <br />Commission. Chairman Mitchell stated the entire procedure should be accom- <br />plished within four or five months. <br />Chairman I~iitchell reported on a recent Water He sources Board meeting <br />he had attended, stating Contra Costa County had expressed the opinion that <br />they did not wish to serve water to San Ramon Village. <br />There being no further business, Chairman Mitchell adjourned the meeting <br />at 10:00 p. m. to meet again in regular session at 8:00 p. m. on March 16, 1961. <br /> <br /> <br />
