IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAM6DA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />March 16, 1961 <br />Vice-Chairman Landon called the meeting to order at 8:25 p. m. <br />As there was no quorum present, Secretary Falea presented matters for <br />discussion that would require no action. He outlined his prepared "Statement <br />of Community Goals in Relation to an Expanded General Plan". <br />Upon arrival oY Commissioner Allison, at 8:35 p. m., Roll Call was ordered. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Commissioners Allison, Landon, and Lozano <br />Ex-0fficio Commissioners Hohn and King <br />Absent -.Commissioners Hanifen and Mitchell <br />~c-0fficio Commissioners Dana and Kamp <br />On motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Allison, and <br />approved by all Commissioners present, the minutes of the March 2, 1961 meeting <br />were approved as forwarded. <br />Public Hearing was held on the application of Frank Auf der Maur for a <br />Variance from Section 6.5 of Ordinance No. 309 for the property located at <br />4436 Mirador Drive. Secretary Falea recommended that the Variance be granted, <br />inasmuch as there would be no gross violation of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />Mr. Stover, owner of adjacent property, offered no objection to the Variance <br />request. Resolution No. 136, as follows, xaa adopted upon motion of Commissioner <br />Allison, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved by all Commissioners <br />present. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 136 <br />Whereas, the application of Frank Auf der Maur fora 1~6" Variance from <br />sideyard requirements and V~6" Variance Prom front yard requirements to allox <br />construction of a carport at 4436 Mirador Drive, having come before this <br />Commission March 16, 1961, under Ordinance No. 309 (Zoning Ordinance) as amettded <br />the Planning Commission does hereby Resolve as Polloxs: <br />1. The Planning Commission does find as Yollows: <br />a. Notice has been given as required by lax. <br />b. The circumstances required by Section 19.1003 of said <br />Ordinance No. 309 do exist. <br />2. A 1~6" aideyard Variance and a ~~6" front yard Variance are hereby <br />granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />a. Must meet building code standards. <br />b. Plans and specifications moat be approved by the City Engineer. <br />c. Completed building must conform to elevation plane submitted <br />by the applicant at the time of the Public Hearing. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties. <br />
