Hanifen and approved by all Commissioners present, Resolution PIo. 1li1 <br />was adopted. <br />RESOLUTI01d 10. lul <br />whereas, the application of Nir. Joseph Vallarino for Site Plan and <br />Architectural Approval to construct two fiveplexes at 3887 Vineyard Avenue, <br />having come before this Commission April 20, 1861 under Ordinance ;o. 309 <br />(Coning Ordinance) as amended, the Planning Commission does hereby resolve <br />as follows: <br />1. The Planning Commission does find as follows: <br />a. Slotice has 'peen given as required by law. <br />b. The circastances required 'oy section 19.1003 of said Ordinance <br />Ho. 309 do exist. <br />2. Site Plan and Architectural Approval is hereby granted subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />a) Dedication of Street as shown on Plot Plan. <br />b) Improvement of said Street to City Specifications. <br />c) Installation of sewer and :cater as designated by City Engineer. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties. <br />The Commission reviewed the "Statement of Goals Contained in the Current <br />General Plan", and the modificationsnade at the last Planning Commission <br />meeting. Mr. mud Perry was present and stated his views on industry in <br />the pleasanton area. Further modifications or supplementations of the above <br />goals were agreed upon and are as follows: <br />1. The character of the City should be primarily residential. <br />2. Industrial development should emphasize the attraction', light industry, <br />which will pro•,~ide the balanced tax base necessary to provide needed <br />services and capital improvements. <br />3. Redevelopment of the central 'ousiness district must be accomplished <br />in order to maintain it as a nucleus for an expanded central business <br />area. <br />Commissioner Hanifen commented on the alignment of N,innie Street. Secretary <br />Fales stated that the matter had been brought before the Council the previous <br />Council PQeeting. <br />There being no i'~xrther 'ousiness to come before the Commission, same <br />eras adjourned on motion of Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hanifen, and approved by all Commissioners present, at 9:55 P.P•1., to meet <br />again in regular session at 8:00 P.M. on May 1F, 1g51. <br />i <br />amen M.
