1. The Planning Commission does find as follows: <br />a. Notice has been given as required by law. <br />b. The circumstances required by Section 19.1003 of said <br />Ordinance No. 309 do exist. <br />2. A 4' Variance is hereby granted. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties. <br />Public Hearing date was set for Stover & Bullard for July 6, 1961 at <br />8:00 P.M. on Motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Rega <br />and approved by all Commissioners present. <br />Mr. John Edmande was present in the audience and gave a report on the <br />proposed moving of Letterman Hospital to one of two places, Monterey or <br />Camp Parks, or reconstructing it where it presently is. The government <br />has allocated $23,000,000.00 for the new 1000 bed hospital. The Chamber of <br />Commerce will be invited to attend the next Planning Commission meeting to <br />listen to a report on the above by the City Staff. <br />Secretary Fales read a letter from Walter McCloud, requesting <br />premission to park a trailer on his land to the rear of 4340 Railroad <br />Avenue, so that his mother could stay near him as she is not well and <br />elderly. Public Hearing date will be set on the 6th of July. <br />Community Goals were discussed. No action taken. <br />~c r. ~r~ <br />Secretary Fales announced the League Conference . 22 through 25th <br />Secretary Fales also announced that a class in Planning will be held at <br />the High School this fall left by Rey Potter. <br />On motion of Commisdoner Tendon, seconded by Commissioner Rega and approved <br />by all Commissioners present, the meeting was adjourned at 9:55 P.M. to meet <br />again July 6, 1961 at 8:00 P.M. <br />
