The location of all shelters proposed to be constructed <br />within the front yard or side yard require prior approval <br />by the City Engineer. <br />~. All shelters constructed shall comply with the general <br />health, safety and welfare requirements of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />Secretary Fales read the referral from the County Planning <br />Commission on the application of A. & M. Guasco for the continuance <br />of an automobile wrecking yard on Santa Rita Road. The Commission <br />agreed to take this matter up on January 18, 1962. <br />Vice Chairman Laudon then read a resolution froze the San Francisco <br />&^..y Area Rapid Transit District regarding the following: <br />"In the matter of withdrawing from further consideration the <br />reports heretofore referred to county boards of supervisors <br />pursuant to Public Utilities Code section 29154 and the plans <br />heretofore referred for recommendation pursuant to section <br />29063 and Government Code section 65552•" <br />Vice~Chairman Landon read a Thank You note from Mrs. Virginia <br />Frost, who left, for the Commission's farewell at the previous meetingg <br />and introduced Mrs. Dorothy Lightner, who will replace Mrs. Frost as <br />Recording Secretary. <br />There being no further business, on motion of Commissioner Lozano, <br />seconded by Conmiissioner Rega; and unanimously approved, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 9:00 P.M. for a study session.
