the Commission could hold this matter over until the June 21 meeting, by which
time the Merchants Association will have discussed the matter. It was moved by
Vice-~'hair~*+ Tendon, seconded by Commissioner Rega, to continue this matter to
the meeting of June 21.
The next item oa the agenda was the Proposed Subdivision Ordinance. Secretary
Fales suggested setting a study seasica date to go over this ordinance. It was
decided to hold a study session on June 7, after the regular Planning Commission
meeting. Mr. Dwight Galloway, of P.G.& E., was present in the audience and was
invited by the Commission to present hie comments in writing, and is also welcome
to be present at the study session if he so desires.
Secretary Falea read a communication from Robert Wtlltama, Planning Director of
Alameda County, enclosing a map of an area across Highway 21 from San Ramon Village,
and asking for recommendations. It was decided that since the Commission has
defined its planning area, and the area in question is not included, the Commission
should not make recommendations. Vice-Chairman Tendon asked the staff to notify
the County PL+~*+ing Commission that the area involved is not within the Pleasanton
Planning Area, and, therefore, the Commission did not feel disposed to make a
recommendation ist this case.
There being no fYmther business, the meeting was ad3ourned at 9:15 P.M., upon
motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega, to meet again at
8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 7, 1962.
