Adams,
479 Adana Court, for a variance from Section 6,5, Ordinance No. 309, in order to
construct three single-family dwellings in an R-1 (single-family residential) area
On the west aide and at the south end of Adams Court, Mr. Adams was present in the
audience and presented his raqueat for a 9.37 ft. frontage variance from a minimum
of 65 feet, and a 2 ft. side variance from a minimum of 12 feet. No one else spoke
from the audience and the public hearing was cloned. Secretary Falea was asked fox
a staff report, and stated that, due to the fact Chat the lot was large and ex-
ceptionally deep and because of its size and shape, it would be difficult to develop
along the lines intended by the single-family residential area other than to divide
it into more than one piece, In this instance, Mr, Fales thought the request for
a variance was justified, ae Mr. Adams' plan for three dwellings would be the moat
practical method by which this particular Lot might be developed. Vice-Chairman
Landon stated he was not in favor of establishing a precedent of variances on two
points, ae in this case, both frontage and aide. On motion by Commissioner Rega,
seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the following resolution was adopted by a vote of
"Aye" by Commissioners Lozano, Rega sad Wipfli, and a vote of "No" by Vice-Chairman
Landon:
RESOLUTION NO. 175
The application of Forrest A, Adams, 479 Adams Court, dated May 22, 1962,
coming before the Planning Commission this date;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1.
