Secretary Pales reported the following Zoning Permits have bean issued adffinietra-
<br />tively since June 21, 1962: Las Vegas Helicopter Airways, P, 0, Box 2717, Las Vegas
<br />Nevada, to operate helicopter rides at Alameda County Fair; Fred R. Farshler, 434
<br />Junction Ave „ Apt. 40, Livermore, to park care during the Fair at 195-231 Besnal
<br />Ave,; Pars, Luiee Glaser, 4637 Second Street, to park care during the Fair at Angela
<br />and Harrison Streets; Mr. Carlo J. Arbini, 537 Plain Street, to park care at 287
<br />Rose Ave, during the Fair. Mx. Fales stated the City had enforced requirements in
<br />terms of wetting down lots and lights out after dark, and the applicants have tried
<br />to.the beat of their ab111ty to control noise. It ie Mr, Falea' belief that on-
<br />street parking would be considerably more complicated if vacaat lots for parking
<br />purposes were not made available during the Alameda County Faix.
<br />Upon presentation by Mr. Forrest A. Adams of amended plot plan, the matter of amend-
<br />ment to Resolution No. 175 was again opened. On motion of Commissioner Antoaini,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Wipfli, and unanimously adopted, Resolution No. 175,
<br />adopted June 7, 1962, was amended to read ae follows:

<br />RESOLVED, Resolution No, 175, adopted June 7, 1962, ie hereby amended, as follows:
<br />The application of Forrest Adams, 479 Adams Court, resubmitted before the
<br />Planning Commission this date;
<br />IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLQWS:
<br />1, Due notice and public hearing has been held according to State statutes
<br />and City ordinances.
<br />2. Variance to Section 6,5 of Zoning Ordinance No. 309, as amended, fox
<br />construction of three single-family residential dwellings south and west
<br />of Adams Court is hereby granted, .subject to the provisions set forth
<br />below,
<br />3. Lots shall be according to dimensions in plot plan submitted with
<br />application,
<br />4, Lot frontage shall be 54.53 feet, as par the revised diagram submitted
<br />and initialed by Mr. Forrest A, Adams,
<br />5. Side yards may be reduced to a total of 10 feet.
<br />6. Provisions of the building codes of the City of Pleasanton shall be
<br />complied with,
<br />7. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties.
<br />Under Matters for the Information of the Commission, Secretary Fales announced the
<br />resignation of City Engineer Sypher to accept a position as Director of Public Works
<br />of San Anselmo, Secretary Falea expressed hie gratitude for Pb-. Sypher's service
<br />to the Commission and to the City of Pleasanton, and was joined in his commendation
<br />by the Commisaionera,
<br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:10 P,M. upon motion
<br />of Chairman Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Aatonini, to meet again on Thursday,
<br />July 19, 1962.
