That the applicant provide and pay for adequate additional police <br />protection. <br />4, That all events involving the use of motorcycles cease by 6;00 P.M. <br />on the date of the race. <br />There were no communications. <br />Under Matters for the Information of the Commission, Secretary Fales introduced <br />Mr. Frank Addiego, the City's Junior Civil Engineer, who was present in the audience <br />and who is conjunction with Mr. Ted Fairfield, of MacKay and Sompa, the City's <br />interim Consulting Engineer, will assist the Commission as a part of the staff until <br />such time ae a new City Engineer is hired. <br />Mr. Art Hilliker arrived at the meeting subsequent to the appearance on the agenda <br />of his application, but wished to talk informally with the Commission in general <br />terms regarding his plane for development of the subject property. It was decided <br />by the Commission to hold a study session on this matter immediately following <br />adjournment of the meeting. <br />Vice-Chairman Landon introduced the question of the present statue of the Subdivisic; <br />Ordinance. Secretary Fales said several items need to be checked with the City <br />Attorney, and notes were left by the City Engineer for incorporation in the Ordinan- <br />ce. Mr, Ted Fairfield has studied the preliminary draft of the Ordinance and be- <br />lieves it to be a good and workable ordinance. A draft of the Subdivision Ordinance <br />will be prepared, and one more meeting will be held for revision and to incorporate <br />changes. It was agreed a public hearing on this matter should be scheduled for the <br />meeting of September 6. It was also agreed to schedule the development proposal <br />of Stover ~ Bullard on the agenda for the September 6 meeting. <br />Vice-Chairman Landon then brought up the subject of defining open apace for garden <br />apartments for incorporation in our present Zoning Ordinance in a RG-15 District. <br />He stated that Hayward and Fremont have definite requirements, and the Pleasanton <br />Planning Commission might well study them. <br />There being no further business, upon motion of Commissioner Wipfli, seconded by <br />Commissioner Rega, the meeting was adjourned at 8:25 P.M., to meet again on Thurs- <br />day, August 16, 1962. <br />
