Mr. Addiego states the Engineering Department is satisfied <br />with the plane in all respects. Upon inquiry by Commi.asioner Antonini regarding <br />landscaping, Mr. Canniatraci replied the area wou'.d be completely landscaped aad <br />he would submit application for landscape appraval. There were no further comments <br />from the audience, and Chairm:_n Lozano declared the public hearing closed. After <br />discussion by the Commission, upen awtion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Antonini, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUSION N0. 7.8/w <br />WHEREAS, the application ex Ns. Dan Cannistraci, 2;553 Calaroga Avenue, <br />Hayward, for a Variance of four feet to reduce the driveway width to <br />s!xteea ft. for the construction of multiple dwelling unite on Roae Avenue, <br />between Pleasanton Avenue and Fair Street, in an RG••15 (Residential Garden <br />Apartment - 1500 square foot minimural Dietsint, haling come before this Com- <br />mission August 16, 1962, under Section 17.303, Ord.J.r.:nce No. 309, the Planning <br />Commission does hereby reaclve as follotas: <br />1. The Planning Commission does find as follows: <br />a. Notice has been given Fs required by law. <br />b. The Variance will not adversely affect the nature of the <br />neighborhood. <br />c. The Variance is b_reby granted for construction of fifteen <br />multiple units with a sixteen-foot driveway, as shown by <br />p1cC plan submitted with the application. <br />d. A copy of this resolution s'.iall be sent to interested parties. <br />The next matter on the agenda was a Further Discuas:Eon of Freliminary Subdivision <br />Layout by Stover & Bullard. Mr. Teri Fairfield, zhe City~nLnteri.m Consulting <br />Engineer, Na. Dennis .Tarnagin, Mr. Don Stover aad V•'. Martin Tdilliama, representing <br />Stover & Bullard, were present. It was 8ecidad that in the light of a written <br />report from City Administrator Fales to the Plnnning Commission, dated August 9, <br />1962, and as the matter is still in a preliminary staEe, it could at this time best <br />be taken up in a study session immediatelq follcwing adjournment of the meeting. <br />There being no communications nor further business to come before the Commission, <br />upon motion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Commissioner Wipfli, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:05 P.M., to meet again on Thursday, September 6, 1962. <br />~+lilliac~ A.
