<br />The regularly achedulad meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at
<br />8:00 P.M, on Thursday, December 6, 1962, by Vice-Chairman Philip Landon.
<br />ROLL CALL showed the #ollowing:

<br />Commissioners Antonini
<br />Lozano
<br />Wipfli

<br />Absent: Ex-Officio Ramp
<br />It will be noted Commissioner P.ega arrived at 8:05 P.M,
<br />On motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Wipfli, the minutes of
<br />the meeting of November 15 were approved as presented by unanimous vote of those
<br />Commissioners present.
<br />The next item on the agenda was Commission reorganization. It was moved by Commis-
<br />sioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and carried, that Commissioner
<br />Philip Landon be appointed Chairman of the Planning Commission. It was then moved
<br />by Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Wipfli, and carried, that Com-
<br />misaioner Frank Lozano be appointed Vice-Chairman of L•iie Planning Commission,
<br />Mr. Fales than introduced the subject of the selection of a member o8 the Planning
<br />Commission to serve ae the Commission's representative on the Citizen's Advisory
<br />Committee on Recreation and Parka. He stated Vice-Mayor Bubics ie acting as the
<br />liaison member from the Council, IC was thereupon moved by Commissioner Lozano,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and carried, that Commissioner Gene Rega act as
<br />the liaison member of the Planning Commission on the Citizen's Advisory Committee on
<br />Recseation and Parks.
<br />Chairman Landon then opened the public hearing on the application of Mr, Frank Auf
<br />der Maur and Mr. Konrad Rickenbach, P, O, Box 558, Pleasanton, for a Variance in
<br />order to allow construction of a covered parking area within the rear yard setback
<br />for a multiple dwelling unit at 568 St. John St„ in an RG-15 District. This would
<br />require a Variance for an accessory structure from five feet to zero feat. No one
<br />spoke from the audience, and Chairmsa•Landon declared the public hearing closed,
<br />Mr. Ted Fairfield signified engineering approval of Mr. Auf der Maur's plane, pro-
<br />vided the fence would not be a supporting structure, Mr. Auf der Maur was present
<br />in the audience and stated he would comply with this stfpulation. Upon motion of
<br />Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the following resolution
<br />was unanimously adopted:

<br />WHEREAS, the application of Mr. Frank Auf der Maur and Mr. Konrad Rickenbach,
<br />P.0, Box 558, Pleasanton, for a Variance from Section 16.602, Ord,
<br />No, 309, reducing the rear and aide yard requirements for an accessory building
<br />from five feet to zero feet, in order to allow construction of a covered park-
<br />ing area in connection with a multiple dwelling unit located at 568 St. John St.,
<br />hoe come before this Commission;
<br />N06d, THEP3iFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLO~dS:
<br />1, The Variance is hereby granted for construction as proposed in said
<br />application, upon condition that the covered parking area will be
<br />self-supporting and not supported by any fence or wall.
