M I N U T E S <br />of <br />THE MEETING <br />of <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />March 7, 1963 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Oommission was called to order at <br />8:00 P,M., on Thursday, March 7, 1963, by Chairman Philip Landon. <br />ROLL CALL showed the following: <br />Present: Chairman Landon <br />Commissioners Lozano <br />P.ega <br />Wipfli <br />Secretary Fales <br />Ex-Officio Hohn <br />Absent: Commissioner Antonini <br />Ex-Officio Kamp <br />On motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Rega, the minutes of the <br />meeting of February 21 were unanimously approved as presented. <br />Chairman Landon then proceeded to the application of MacKay & Somps, Civil Engineers <br />Inc „ 126 Spring St., for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan and Architectural Approval, <br />in order to construct the first phase of a proposed office building complex on the <br />south side of Spring Street immediately west of the Southern Pacific Railroad right- <br />of-way, in a C-G District, Mr. Ted Fairfield was present in the audience and pre- <br />sented a sketch of the proposed building. City Engineer Campbell stated there are <br />no aide yard requirements, and the 10-foot front and rear yard requirements are <br />being met, Eight parking spaces are required, which are indicated, and parking and <br />turning apace ie ample, He also specified that sidewalk, curb, gutter, drainage, <br />sanitary sewers and water connections be installed to the satisfaction of the City <br />Engineer, After discussion by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner P.ega, <br />seconded by Commissioner Wipfli, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 203 <br />WHEREAS, application hsa been made under Article 19, Ordinance No. 309, <br />by MacKay & Sompa, Civil Engineers, Inc., 126 Spring Street, <br />for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan and Architectural Approval, in order <br />to construct the first phase of a proposed office building complex on <br />the south side of Spring Street immediately west of the Southern Pacific <br />right-of-way, in a C-C District, has come before this Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />P.ESOLVID, that the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission does hereby <br />approve said application for Zoning YermiC, with Site Plan <br />and Architectural Approval, with the following conditions attached thereto: <br />1. Sidewalk, curb, gutter and driveways be installed to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer, <br />2. On-site drainage facilities be installed to the satis- <br />faction of the City Engineer. <br />3. Sanitary sewer and water connections in Spring Street <br />be lnatalled to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />The next item on the agenda was the appointment of Planning Commission represents- <br />tivea to the Subdivision Committee. Chairman Landon volunteered to be a repre- <br />aentative, and appointed Commissioner Antonini as the second respreaentative. <br />
