<br />for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan and Architectural Approval, in order to construct
<br />an addition to an existing building at 443 Main St „ in a C-C District, Upon motion
<br />of Commissioner Antonini, ahconded by Commissioner Rega, the following resolution
<br />was unanimously adopted:

<br />WHEREAS, application made .under Article T9j Ord, No, 309, by March
<br />Engineering Co„ Inc, f6t a ~dning Permit with 31te Plan and
<br />Architectural Approval, in order td tonBEtuct an addition to an existing
<br />building at 443 Main St „ in a C-C district, has come before this Commission;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED, that the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission does hereby
<br />approve said application for Zoning Permit with Site Plan and
<br />Architectural Approval,
<br />Mr, Paul Loretz, speaking from the audience, stated that he believes the attitude
<br />of the Planning Commission should be to welcome additions to the Central Business
<br />District. Commissioner Antonini replied that the Commission is governed by laws,
<br />Mr, R,I, Smith declared his belief that the Planning Commission is doing a good job,
<br />Mr, Chris Beratlis was present in the audience and stated he would like to meet
<br />with the Planning Commission to discuss mobile home parks in a particular area,
<br />He said the developer with whom he has been negotiating is still interested in
<br />Pleasanton, Mr, Fales reported that the subject of mobile homes has been presented
<br />to Livingston & Blayney for inclusion in the General Plan revision, A study session
<br />including a tour of inspection of possible locations for mobile home parks, was
<br />scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, at 2:00 P,M„ at City Hall,
<br />The next item on the agenda was a presentation of the Chamber of Commerce Industrial.
<br />Development Committee re: areas for consideration for industrial promotion and
<br />development. Mr, Fales described property boundaries for possible industrial
<br />development on the Pleasanton-Sunol Road, A total of 319 acres has been suggested
<br />by the Committee to be referred to the Planning Conmiisaion to study and consider
<br />as potential industrial land in the new General Plan, A study session with the
<br />Chamber of Commerce Industrial Development Committee was scheduled to follow the
<br />Planning Commission meeting of April 4,
<br />There being no further business Co come before the Commission, upon motion of
<br />Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Wipfli, the meeting was adjourned at
<br />9:45 P,M„ to meet again on Thursday, April 4, 1963, at 8:00 P,M.
