RESOLUTION N0. 290
<br />WHEREAS, the application of Wm. J. Jacobson, 221 Junipero St., for a
<br />Zoning Permit in order to install an advertizing sign 47 feet
<br />in height upon Lot i, Tract No. 2517, 5302 Sunol Blvd., in a C-N District,
<br />has come before this Commission;
<br />NOW, THBREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED, that the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission does hereby
<br />grant said Zoning Permit subject to the following conditions:
<br />1. Compliance with all of the conditions specified in approval
<br />of Variance application No. V64-3, as set forth in Plan-
<br />ning Commission Reeolution No. 284, dated March 25, 1964.
<br />2. Said sign moat conform to all applicable codes and ordin-
<br />ances of the City.
<br />The next item on the agenda, application of Duke T. Bonds, 524 Neal St., for a
<br />Zoning Permit With Site Plan and Architectural Approval in order to allow con-
<br />atructlon of a duplex on property located at the southeast corner of Pleasanton
<br />Ave, and Division St., in an RG-15 District, was automatically continued, due to
<br />continuation of the attending Variance application, to the meeting of April 8, 1964.
<br />The next item on the agenda was consideration of Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract
<br />No. 2573 (Unit No. 5. Mission Park). Considerable discussion ensued between the
<br />Commission, staff, and Meears. Fairfield and Jacobson, pending formal notification
<br />by the School Board of selection of a definite school site in the area of Tract
<br />No. 2573.
<br />A recess was declared by Chairman Landon at 11:10 P.M.
<br />Chairman Landon reconvened the meeting at 11:20 P.M.
<br />After giving further consideration to Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No. 2573,
<br />it was decided by the Commission to continue the matter to the meeting of April 8,
<br />1964, and Inform the School District of this fact. If a definite formal decision
<br />by the School Board is not forthcoming, it will be necessary to call a special
<br />meeting of the Planning Commission.
<br />The next item on the agenda, consideration of possible alternate land uses for
<br />approximately 40 acres of land located on the went aide of Sunol Blvd. south of
<br />the City Limits, was continued to the meeting of April 22, 1954, at the request
<br />of the applicant, W.E. Dutra, 37313 Maple St., Fremont.
<br />Mr. Falea read a communication from the Alameda County Planning Commission contain-
<br />ing a referral of the application by Lionell Rett, 321 Linden Way, to expand a
<br />nonconforming use, namely honey extracCion and bottling, by removing a small build-
<br />ing and construction of a 24'x24' building on the above-mentioned property. The
<br />Commission decided to take no action on this matter.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of
<br />Commissioner Lozano, aeccnded by Commissioner Rega, the meeting was adjourned at
<br />11:40 P.M., to meet again on Wednesday, April 8, 1964, at 8:00 Y.M.
