RESOLUTION N0. 285 <br />WHEREAS, the application of D 6 V Builders, Inc., 6000 Telegraph Ave., <br />Oakland, for a Conditional Uae Permit in order to install a <br />temporary tract sign southeast of the intersection of Black Ave. and <br />Hopyard Road, in a C-N District, has come before this Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS POLLOWS: <br />1. The above-named Conditional Use Permit is hereby granted <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />a. Said sign is subject to removal by the applicant <br />upon thirty days written notice by the City. <br />b. Subject to Condition a, said Conditional Use <br />Permit shall not extend more than five years <br />from March 25, 1964. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Rega, and carried, <br />that the staff set a public hearing in order to consider amendment of Ordinance <br />No. 309 to allow temporary tract signs in all zoning districts as a conditional <br />use, Mr. False suggested having one public hearing and include therein several <br />pending amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. <br />Chairmen Landon opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning Com- <br />mieaibn fora Conditional Use Permit in order to allow development of a public <br />park by the Pleasanton Lions Club on a parcel of property located on the northwest <br />corner of Neal St. and First St., in a C-T and a C-G District. Mr. Hilliker, <br />Lions Club President, was present in the audience. Mr. Fales explained that the <br />subject park is designed primarily as a wayside park for casual use and aesthetic <br />improvement. The Lions Club wishes merely to initially install the park. It was <br />moved by Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Rega, and carried, that the <br />public hearing be closed. Mr. Fales said the staff recommends the Conditional Uae <br />Permit be granted in order to allow construction of the subject park in accordance <br />with the plan on file with the City. Mr. Hilliker stated it is the intent of the <br />Lions Club to present the park to the City for maintenance within the sear future. <br />The Lions Club is receiving donations of trees to be planted in the park, and it ie <br />hoped that each of the 17 trees recommended for subdivisions in the City of <br />Pleasanton will be on display in the park. After discussion by the Commission, <br />upon motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Rega, the following <br />resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of those Commissioners present: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 286 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission fora Conditional Uee <br />Permit in order to allow development of a public park by the <br />Pleasanton Lions Club on a parcel of property located on the northwest corner <br />of Neal St. and First St., in a C-T and a C-G District, has come before <br />this Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The above-named Conditional Use Permit is hereby granted <br />subject to the following condition: <br />a. Said Bark shall be constructed in accordance with plane <br />en file with the City prior to acceptance of said park <br />by the City for maintenance purposes. <br />Next, the public hearing was opened by Chairman Landon on the application of the <br />Planning Commission for amendment to Articles 7 through 13, Ord, No. 309, 1n order <br />to require landscape approval for all uses in multiple reaideatial and commercial <br />districts. There being no comment from the aud!.ance, it was moved by Commissioner <br />Raga, seconded by Commisaior.~r Lozano, and carried, that the public hearing be <br />closed. Upon motion of Comatnaioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Rega, the <br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of those Commissioners present: <br />
