a use permit fora mobile home park. Chairman Landon suggested that the School <br />District be apprised of the location of a proposed mobile home park. A question <br />by Commissioner Johnston regarding the possibility of light industrial zoning in <br />the area instigated considerable discussion by the staff and Commission regarding <br />the future of the Surrounding area. Mr. Fales stated that this problem has been <br />considered by certain General Plan Sub-Committees, but that, pending completion of <br />the new General Plan, it is difficult to make a decision at this time. It was <br />moved by Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and carried, that <br />a public hearing be scheduled for June 24, 1964, to consider the twofold question <br />of recommendatiora regarding the feasibility of proposed Annexation No. 34, and <br />allocation of land use upon annexation. <br />Mr. Falea read a communication from the Alameda County Planning Commission request- <br />ing a recommendation regarding a Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 2643, a <br />unit of Silvergate in Dublin. It was the consensus of the Commission that since <br />this is outside the Pleasanton Planning Area, the Commission would reserve comment. <br />Mr. Fales announced he had received a telephone communication from Mr. George Oakes <br />inviting the Commission, Council and staff to tour other $ousaeau subdivisions in <br />Southern Alameda County, and suggesting Saturday, June 6, 1964, ae a possible date. <br />As it was impossible for several of the Commissioners to attend on the above date, <br />it was suggested that the staff inquire of Mr, lakes the locations of the aub- <br />divisiona in order that the Con~issioners might tour the subdivisions informally. <br />Mr. Fales stated that the City Council desires to have a study session with the <br />Planning Commission regarding Tentative Map approval provisions of the Subdivision <br />Ordinance, and euggeated the date of June 1. Since this date was not possible for <br />the entire Planning Commission, it was requested that the joint study session be <br />held on Monday, June 22, 1964. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of Com- <br />missioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and carried, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:58 P.M, to the next regular meeting, Wednesday, June 10, 1964, at <br />8:00 P.M. <br />
