a use permit fora mobile home park. Chairman Landon suggested that the School
District be apprised of the location of a proposed mobile home park. A question
by Commissioner Johnston regarding the possibility of light industrial zoning in
the area instigated considerable discussion by the staff and Commission regarding
the future of the Surrounding area. Mr. Fales stated that this problem has been
considered by certain General Plan Sub-Committees, but that, pending completion of
the new General Plan, it is difficult to make a decision at this time. It was
moved by Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and carried, that
a public hearing be scheduled for June 24, 1964, to consider the twofold question
of recommendatiora regarding the feasibility of proposed Annexation No. 34, and
allocation of land use upon annexation.
Mr. Falea read a communication from the Alameda County Planning Commission request-
ing a recommendation regarding a Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 2643, a
unit of Silvergate in Dublin. It was the consensus of the Commission that since
this is outside the Pleasanton Planning Area, the Commission would reserve comment.
Mr. Fales announced he had received a telephone communication from Mr. George Oakes
inviting the Commission, Council and staff to tour other $ousaeau subdivisions in
Southern Alameda County, and suggesting Saturday, June 6, 1964, ae a possible date.
As it was impossible for several of the Commissioners to attend on the above date,
it was suggested that the staff inquire of Mr, lakes the locations of the aub-
divisiona in order that the Con~issioners might tour the subdivisions informally.
Mr. Fales stated that the City Council desires to have a study session with the
Planning Commission regarding Tentative Map approval provisions of the Subdivision
Ordinance, and euggeated the date of June 1. Since this date was not possible for
the entire Planning Commission, it was requested that the joint study session be
held on Monday, June 22, 1964.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of Com-
missioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and carried, the meeting was
adjourned at 9:58 P.M, to the next regular meeting, Wednesday, June 10, 1964, at
8:00 P.M.
