CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-527 <br /> <br /> RESOI/3TION ESTABLISHING POLICIES <br /> REGARDINGART IN PUBLIC PLACES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 12, 1989, the City <br /> Council reviewed the report of the Director of <br /> Planning and Community Development (IR 89:87) <br /> regarding the recommendations of the Pleasanton <br /> Cultural Arts Council (PCAC); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council approves the recommendations contained in <br /> the above-described report with the exception that <br /> no funding is committed at this time; Council will <br /> review financing of the program in conjunction with <br /> the next fiscal year's budget. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor shall appoint a five member committee, <br /> which will include a Councilmember liaison and a <br /> member of the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council, to <br /> select the artwork in public places. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 12, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Pegg~PEzidr~ <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
