Campbell stated <br />tha*_ to?~ fetters had taePn received in opposition to rezoning of the subject <br />prop^rtyr one from Mrs. Ellen Elsnab, 6'l.2 St. John Street, dated November 20, 1964, <br />?nd the second from Mrs. Marian Roae, 6'10 St. John Street. Mr. Deetz explained <br />that during the time of funerals he has ceased operations in order not to interfere <br />with services at the adjoining funeral home, with a resultant expense to himself. <br />Mr. Deetz stated further rhat he rents apace to tenants on a monthly basis. Upon <br />inquiry by Commissioner Rega regarding fencing of the property, Mr. Campbell states <br />that a 10-foot front-yard setback would be required. for a 6-f t. fence. Mr. Deetz <br />said he is willing to erect a fence, and outside of the proposed fence he has <br />permanent poison on his property to discourage the growth of weeds. Mr. Deetz <br />agreed with the Commission on a two-year time limit for the subject application <br />and. he would give closer attention to the controlling of dust. After disc+ission <br />by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Can¢nissioner <br />Antonini, the following reeolution was adopted by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 370 <br />WHEREAS, the application of H.J. Deetz, 4227 Pleasanton Ave., fora Zoning <br />Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval in <br />order to locate two portable storage buildings at 715 St. John Street, in <br />a G-G District, has come before this Commission; <br />T~F7, THEP.EFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED, that the above-named Zoning Permit is hereby granted subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. Said Zoning Permit is issued fora period of two years <br />only, and will expire on December 9, 1966. <br />2. A fence must be erected to the satisfaction of the <br />Director of Public Works along the front yard setback <br />line of the subject property, facing St. .Rohn Street, <br />and along the aide-yard setback line of said property <br />adjacent to 675 St. John Street. <br />3. The applicant must continuously control all dust which <br />may be generated on the subject property, to the satis- <br />faction of the Director of Public Works. <br />T.herP being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of <br />Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega, and carried, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 9:10 P.M., to meet again on Wednesday, December 23, 1964, at <br />8 P.M. <br />
