<br />Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application os:'rir. T.J. Devra_11,
<br />457.2 Alameda Drive, Fremont, for a Conditional Use Permit in order to iaetall a
<br />temporary plumbing equipment storage yard north of Black Avenue approximately 600
<br />feet east of Hopyard Road, in an R-1 District. Mr. Campbell, in giving the staff
<br />report, stated that temporary equipment storage yards are not specifically covered.
<br />by the Ordinance. He referred to Section 17.625 of Ord. No. 30:, which allows
<br />temporary tract offices in any district Limited to six months, subject to extension
<br />on request. The staff considers this to be a necessary function to modr_rn sub-
<br />division construction and should be allowed, and, therefore, recommends approval
<br />with a time limit. Chairman Landon suggested that, in the future, allocation of
<br />areas for this purpose be considered at the time of approval of the Final Subdivieioc.
<br />Map, and, even though it might not be feasible to designate specific areas, it could
<br />be specified that the developer will designate ouch temporary areas with the approval
<br />of the City Engineer. Mr. Devrell was present in the audience and explained his
<br />request. There being no further comments from the audience, it was moved by Coamtis-
<br />sioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, and carried, that the public hear-
<br />ing be closed. After discussion by the Commission, upon motion of Commi.aeioner
<br />Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, the follawing resolution was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote:
