No. 309, in order to erect a temporary tract sign southeast <br />of the intersection of U.S, Highway 50 end Santa Rita Road, in a C-C District. Mz. <br />?ales, in presenting the staff repozt, made reference to Sections 17.703 and 17.706 <br />of Ord. No. 309 regarding signs; however, since the proposed sign is of a temporary <br />rather then a permanent nature, subject to a ruling by the City Attorney the staff <br />xecamaende approval with conditions as outlined, Mr. George Qakea was present on <br />behalf of First Pleasanton Investors, and described the sign which is now requested, <br />~+.nce the conatructlon of the overpass has chaage~ the concept of the original sign. <br />He stated that illumination from the ground is anticipated. He also stated that <br />application would be made for another sign in the near future. There being no <br />further comments from the audience, it was moved by Commissioner Antonini, seconded <br />by Comoaisaioner Loaano, and carried, that the public hearing be closed. After die- <br />cuasion by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Lozano, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 425 <br />WE~'REA.S, the applicatioa of First Pleasanton Imeatore, 582 Market St., <br />San Francisco, for a Conditional Use Permit under Section <br />11.30, Ord. The sign shall be set back from Route 580 a minimum <br />of 50 feet. <br />2. The subject permit shall be issued fora period of <br />two years. <br />3. The applicant must remove said sign upon 30 days' <br />written notice from the City of Pleasanton. <br />4. Suitable landscaping shall be installed. <br />5.
