The following referrals were received from Alameda County: <br />Colman Foley, 1500 Martin Avenue, use permit for a house trailer to be used during <br />renovation of an existing house. The City Planning Commission recommended approval <br />with the suggestion that a reasonable time limit be established by the County <br />Planning Commission for parking of trailer. <br />William H. Gale, Foothill Road, south of Sunol Boulevard, adjustment to add a <br />porch to an existing house where the porch would encroach in the front yard set- <br />back. The City Planning Commission recommended approval to the Alameda County <br />Board of Zoning Adjustment. <br />Oliver De Silva, quarry permit for extension of existing quarry permit. The <br />Commission deferred this item to the meeting of December 22, 1965, to allow the <br />staff an opportunity to review this application. <br />A letter from Mr. Fraley, Alameda County Planning, regarding proposed scenic route <br />system. Maps and reports were available for study by the Commission. The <br />Commission was informed that this was a preliminary look at this system; that a <br />more detailed plan would be forthcoming from the County. <br />Mr. Fales stated that new street names had been submitted for Tract 2639, Fairlands, <br />and that the staff recommended approval of the street names submitted. After <br />discussion by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by <br />Vice-Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 495 <br />WHEREAS, this amendment to Tentative Map, Tract 2639, Fairlands, <br />regarding street names, has come before this Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED, that street name list submitted be approved with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Names are to be submitted to Alameda <br />County for checking to avoid conflicts <br />with already existing or proposed street <br />names. <br />2. City staff is to assign the names to the <br />various streets. <br />The next item on the agenda was Matters for the Information of the Commission - <br />Mr. Fales presented two reports on minor subdivisions from the Subdivision <br />Committee. Application involved were from Dr. Long, property located west of <br />Foothill Road; and J. Acord, property located at 4795 Harrison Street. <br />Mr. Fales also advised the Cocrmiission that the Supreme Court had rendered a <br />decision in favor of Pleasanton relative to the Dublin-Pleasanton annexation which <br />has been in progress for nearly three years. The Commission extended to Mr. <br />Struthers a vote of confidence on his victory in this matter. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of Vice- <br />Chairman Antonini, the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 P,M., to meet again on <br />Wednesday, December 22, 1965, at 8:00 P,M, <br />
