<br />in a C-C District, has come before this Commission:

<br />Chairman Landon opened the public hearing on the application of Rainier Construction
<br />Company, 6000 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, for a Variance in the rear-yard setback in
<br />construction of a single-family dwelling at 1774, 1750, 1758 Orchard Way, in an R-1
<br />District. The three Variance applications were considered simultaneously. Mr.
<br />Campbell presented the staff report which stated that this Variance request was
<br />minimum in all cases and the request was due to the fact that the developer is
<br />proposing to put an "L" shaped house on the lots. Upon motion of Commissioner
<br />Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Plato, and carried, the public hearings were
<br />closed. After discussion by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Antonini,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Johnston, the following three resolutions were adopted

<br />mission for an amendment to the recreation element of the Pleasanton Area General
<br />Plan regarding neighborhood park and recreation facllity standards. Mr. Campbell
<br />presented the staff report which stated that the City Council indicated that their
<br />intent was to require the dedication of land to the extent compatible with the
<br />General Plan and then to require a payment of fees for the remaining lots in the
