<br />WHEREAS, the application of F. A. Lambert, 443 St. John
<br />Street, for a Conditional Use Pemit in order
<br />to construct a residence upon the rear portion
<br />of property located at the above address, in a
<br />C-C District, has cue before this Comission:
<br />NOM, THEREFORE, SE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above-Waned application be approved, with
<br />the clarification that the Planning Comission will
<br />continue to review each application, based on its
<br />own merits, aad this approval dose not set a
<br />precedent for any subsequent applications.
<br />ChaitHan Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planaiag
<br />Comnieeion for Amendments to Section 8.500, Ordinance No. 309, regarding Area Re-
<br />quirements in RG Districts. Mr. Falea informed the Conmisaion that Mr. Blayney had
<br />requested continuance of this natter to the next Heeling in order to allow sore
<br />tine to prepare an appropriate presentation. Upon notion of ChalrHan Antonini,
<br />seconded by Conoiasioner Arnold, and carried, it was detemined to continue this
<br />natter to the nesting of Nay 25, 1966.
<br />The next iteH on the agenda was the application of Ad-Art, Inc., for a Zoning Permit
<br />in order to erect an advertizing sign at 4290 Stanley Boulevard in a C-T District.
<br />Mr. Falea presented the staff report which recomended approval. After further
<br />discussion, upon notion of Chaitnan Antonini, seconded by Cocuissioner Arnold, the
<br />following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Blaze Plastics, Inc. for a
<br />Zoning Pemit is order to erect an advertizing sign at 4253 First Street, in a C-C
<br />District. Mr. Fales presented the staff report which recoaoended approval. Aftez
<br />further discussion, upon Notion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Conraiesioner
<br />Arnold, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />Under Comunications, a neoorandun from Mr. Gary Patton was presented on behalf of
<br />the Pleasanton Recreation and Park Commission, which asked for a nenber of the
<br />Planning Co®ieeion to be designated to represent Pleasanton on an advisory coHnittec
<br />to be established by the East Bay Segional Park District. Commissioner Carrigan
<br />was appointed to serve on this cotnittee.
<br />The next item on the agenda was Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 2860
<br />(Pleasanton Valley). Mr. Falea read a letter from Dudley Frost asking for a con-
<br />tinuance of this natter to the meeting of May 25, 1966. With the consent of the
<br />applicant, upon notion of Chaiman Antonini, seconded by Cocmisaioner Carrigan, and
<br />carried, this matter was continued to the meeting of May 25, 1966.
<br />The next item on the agenda was Tentative Subdivision Map for Tzact No. 2573. Mr.
<br />Falea stated that a request for continuance of this natter had been recieved from
<br />Mrs. Denise Thibault. Mr. Falea further stated that the forty day tine limit was
<br />about to expire on this map. Upon notion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Crna-
