<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved.
<br />The next item on the agenda was the application of R. A. Martin, 14 Castlewood Drive,
<br />Pleasanton, for a Zoning Permit in order to allow construction of a subdivision
<br />tract sign at the southeast corner of the intersection of Sunol Boulevard and
<br />Arlington Drive, in an R-1 District. Mr. Edgar presented the staff report which
<br />recommended approval with a stated time limit to ba determined by the Commission.
<br />Mr. Martin and Mr. Vic Lund were present in the audience. Mr. Martin stated that
<br />he would like the time limit for the sign to be the same ae for the tract office.
<br />After further diacusaion, upon motion of Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Chairman
<br />Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of R. A. Martin, 14 Castlewood Drive,

<br />subject to the following condition:
<br />1. Time limit of three years.
<br />The next item on the agenda was the application of Stanley E. Jorgensen, 2982 Foot-
<br />hill Road, for a Zoning Permit in order to locate a mobile home on a 4.75 acre
<br />parcel of land on the west aide of Foothill Road, in an R-1 District. Mr. Edgar
<br />presented the staff report which recommended approval subject to conditions. Mr.
<br />Jorgensen was present in the audience and stated this mobile home would be located
<br />at this location on a temporary basis. After further discussion, upon motion of
<br />Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was
<br />adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of Stanley E. Jorgensen, 2982 Foothill
<br />Road, for a Zoning Permit in order to locate a
<br />mobile home on a 4.75 acre parcel of land on the
<br />taeat aide of Foothill Road, in an R-1 District, has
<br />come before this Commission:
<br />NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved subject
<br />to the following conditions:
<br />1. Time limit of five years.
<br />2. That septic tank approval be obtained from the
<br />County Health Department.
<br />The next item on the agenda was further consideration of Livingston and Blayney
<br />report concerning Mixed Lot Sizes. Mr. Edgar summarized the Livingston and Blayney
<br />report dated May 20, 1966. Mr. Ray Martin spoke relative to using variation in
<br />streets for different design 1n a development. Mr. Ted Fairfield spoke stating that
<br />he felt one should consider terrain, a given price range for a given area, access to
<br />Civic Center, shopping centers, freeways, etc. Mr. Fairfield went on to say that he
<br />felt we need development in a lower price range for homes, also, to disregard the
<br />4.7 density now in the General Plan and use a variable density. In other words, a
<br />sliding scale for density depending on the area involved, considering terrain, etc.
<br />After further diacusaion, upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Arnold, and carried, the following motion was unanimously adopted.
<br />MOVED: to adopt, in principal, Alternate No. 4 Listed
<br />in the report of Livingston and Blayney, dated
<br />May 20, 1966.
