<br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at
<br />8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, August 10, 1966, by Chairman Antonini.
<br />ROLL CALL showed the following:
<br />Present: Commiasionere Johnston

<br />Chairman Antonini
<br />Absent: Commissioner Arnold
<br />Carrigan
<br />Secretary Falea
<br />Mr. Alan Campbell, Director of Public Works, acted as
<br />Secretary Pro Tem for this meeting.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the minutes of
<br />the meeting of July 27, 1966, were approved as presented by unanimous vote.
<br />Under Meeting Open for any Member of the Audience to Address the Commission, Father
<br />Cloutier was present and explained why he desired to use a single family dwelling
<br />as a classroom, an interim use only, in a R-1 District. After discussion, the
<br />Commission offered no objections to this use, but specified that a Conditional Use
<br />Permit moat be presented to the Commission for formal action.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Stoneaon
<br />Development Corporation, 3150 20th Avenue, San Francisco, for an amendment to
<br />Ordinance No. 309 rezoning the area of proposed Tract No. 2896 from the A District
<br />to the R-1, R-2, C-O, RG-15, RG-25, C-T and C-C Districts. Mr. Campbell presented
<br />the staff report which recommended that the Planning Commission recommend approval
<br />to the City Council. At this time, Mr. Campbell also presented the staff report on
<br />the Zoning Permit connected with this application, and appearing later on the agenda.
<br />Mr. Campbell also read a letter from the Emporium Capwell Company which indicated a
<br />committment to the Regional Shopping Center in the Stoneaon Development. Mr. Ted
<br />Fairfield was present in the audience and spoke briefly about the letter from
<br />Emporium Capwell Company and about the density relative to the Regional Shopping
<br />Center.
<br />Commissioner Carrigan joined the meeting at 8:32 P.M.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried, the
<br />public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
<br />Plato, seconded by Chairman Antonini, the following resolution was adopted by unani-
<br />mous vote.

<br />WHEREAS, the application of the Stoneaon Development Corporation,
<br />3150 20th Avenue, San Francisco, for an amendment to
<br />Ordinance No. 309 rezoning the area of proposed TracC
<br />No. 2896 from the A District to the R-1, R-2, C-0, RG-15,
<br />RG-25, C-T and C-C Districts, has come before this
<br />Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the Planning Commission recommend to the City
<br />Council that the above named application be approved.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of L. D. McGregor,
<br />4812 Harrison Street, for an amendment to Ordinance No. 309 rezoning a parcel of
<br />property located at 4782 Harrison Street, from the R-1 District to the RG-15 District.
