<br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at
<br />8:05 P.M„ on Wednesday, October 12, 1966, by Chairman Antonini.
<br />ROLL CALL showed the following:
<br />Present: Commissioner Garrigen
<br />Plato
<br />Chairman Antonini
<br />Absent: Commissioner Arnold
<br />Johnston
<br />Secretary Falea
<br />Mr. Alan Campbell, Director of Public Works, acted ae Secretary
<br />Pro Tem for this meeting,
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigen, seconded by Chairman Antonini, and carried,
<br />the minutes of the meeting of September 28, 1966, were approved ea presented by
<br />unanimous vote.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of R, G. Athenour,
<br />4151 Silver Street, for a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309, in order
<br />to allow addition of a room within the rear-yard setback, at the above address in
<br />an R-1 District. Mr, Campbell presented the staff report which recommended eppro or.l
<br />of this Variance. Mr. Athenour was present in the audience and concurred with the
<br />staff report. Upon motion of Commissioner Garrigen, seconded by Commissioner Plato,
<br />and carried, the public hearing was closed. After further discussion, upon motion
<br />of Commissioner Plato, seconded by Commissioner Garrigen, the following resolution
<br />was adopted by unanimous vote,
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 618
<br />WHEREAS, the application of R, G. Athenour, 4151 Silver Street,
<br />for a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309,
<br />in order to allow addition of a room within the rear-
<br />yard setback, at the above address in an R-1 District,
<br />has come before this Commission;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED; that the above-named application be approved.
<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of 0. W, Holmes, 7575
<br />Highland Oaks Drive, fox a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance No. 309, in order
<br />to allow installation of a covered patio and arbor within the rear-yard setback, at
<br />the shove address, in an R-1 District. Mr. Campbell presented the staff report
<br />which recommended approval of this application for a Variance. Upon motion of Com-
<br />misaioner Garrigen, seconded by Chairmen Antonini, and carried, the public hearing
<br />was closed. After further discussion, upon motion of Coa®ieeloner Plato, seconded
<br />by Commissioner Garrigen, the following resolution wee adopted by unanimous vote,
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 619
<br />WHEREAS, the application of 0. W. Holmes, 7575 Highland Oaka
<br />Drive, for a Variance from Section 6.500, Ordinance
<br />No. 309, in order to allow installation of a covered
<br />patio and arbor within the rear-yard setback, at the
<br />above address in an R-1 District, has come before
<br />this Commission:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
<br />RESOLVED: that the above-named application be approved.
